Best "easy" stuff you can get for quarantining your fish as well getting rid of parasites. I use this and levamisole for 4 weeks to ensure there's no parasites on my fish before putting them in the big tank. My fish live years sometimes even a decade long now!

I had "something" in my tank that was killing all my fish and I had written to API and they told me to use the General cure in combination with Melafix, and Pima fix to eliminate the problem. And it worked on all 4 of my tanks. A helpful hint would be to remove all carbon and amino chips if you are using them, as they will suck up all the medication you just put in, follow the directions on the package, and do not use any UV filters when medicating your aquarium as it will turn your water black when it reacts with the UV Filter. I found it to be a quick helpful medicine that cleared up several problems in my tank. The large jar size is economical too if you have a large or many tanks to treat; it has a 3 year expiration date on it. Make sure to put your nets, algae scrappers, and any other tools that might be contaminated in the tanks too so you are killing all possible causes.
