This is a really cool tool. Its made really well and feels sturdy in your hand. There's a little bit of a learning curve in using it but after I got the lever placed and understood how it pivots to control the tension, it was a breeze to use. I ordered this to use on my senior dogs nails which is working out amazing. I did use it on myself as I got used to it and agree that its perfect for both uses. I'll buy another for myself in a different color and keep this one in our grooming bag

These are the first type of clippers I've found that open extremely wide. Those who have thick nails should definitely try them. The packaging is perfect with the container to hold them so you aren't searching for something smaller than items you store in the same area. Highly recommend and a great price for such strong clippers

So I must admit I looked for a while and was a bit nervous about trying a very different way of clipping.These take a bit to get used to but are very good at cutting through the thickest nails. I had read some reviews that durability was not great, but so far so excellent!They clipped very well work every time open up every time no issues at all. They're like a typical size nail clippers slightly bigger with a little wedge in there to turn them over to the clipping, fit very well in the bottle that I like to keep my nail clipping things in.The nail file is really different and it works exceptionally well doesn't leave you with any of that under nail shred where you have to peel it out. I don't know how to say that this nail file is different than anything else I've ever used and I really do love it, I do wish however that it got the sides of the nail a little bit better but overall amazing excellent value for the money!!!!

This is a great pair of nail clippers. I have bought a few pair so far, for family and small gifts. First bought for my 89 year old father and caregivers appreciate that it's easy to grip and clip. One for our dog, yes our dog, and they work well. Very good on thick nails, not sure about thin or delicate nails.

Great toe nail clippers that work well with thick toenails. They are lightweight and easy to use. The gap is big so they can tackle most thick toe nails. This is a good value for the money.

This nail clipper works well with very sharp blades. Since it's jaws open very wide I found that you need to take care not to clip too far into your nail. The quality is good being stainless steel so cleaning is no problem.
