Weruva Wx Phos Focused Freeze Dried, Chicken Breast & Tilapia Formula, 7oz Bag

I bought this smaller size first because my ckd kitty Daisy can be veryyyyy picky. But wow does she love it!!! Finding low phosphorus foods/treats with quality ingredients is very difficult at times. I’ve already ordered the larger bag. It works as a treat, a topper, and a food. As a crunchy treat I can give her a few of the little cubes right out of the bag. I can crumble them as a topper onto her prescription kidney diet wet foods. And I can rehydrate them into a delicious little lunch. They look just like little freeze dried chicken bites.

My senior cat with CKD loves this as a treat or sprinkled on top of other wet food. She also loves the Weruva Phos focused wet treats and the canned food. Thank you Weruva for introducing these new low Phos items!

We have 5 cats and not one of them will eat it. I mixed it with filtered water to make a wet food, let it sit a few minutes and then stirred it to make a smooth texture. It smells like fresh cooked chicken but my furballs wouldn't eat it, just sniffed it and walked away. Two of my cats were strays that lived outside a long time, I thought for sure they would eat it but they turned up their noses too. So, not so much a bad product as my cats are just spoiled. Two of them don't like canned food at all so that may also be the issue. The chuncks are cubed which are a nice size but it's of course dry which is why I think adding water would make it more palatable. Seems to be good quality, like I said it does smell like fresh cooked chicken.

Finally, a low phosphorus freeze dried cat food! My one cat that requires a low phos diet loved the taste. I like that it actually looks like cubes of chicken with very high quality ingredients. Does not have a bad smell like many other cat foods either.

My cat won't eat them.

Purchased for my kd cat. She, nor my other cats are interested. I appreciate any kd treats for those dealing with the disease. Unfortunately these were not a hit for our cats.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My cats LOVE THESE! And they are such picky girls, it’s so good for my one cat with kidney disease!
