I ordered one of these from Brio directly as the reviews here are littered with battery issues. Imagine my dismay after I received my unit and it exhibited the symptoms described here. Turn it on speed 1 and watch the battery bleed dry a percentage a second. I contacted their support and they informed me of an issue from the manufacturer and by their words a few cycles of fully charging and running the battery empty should resolve the issue.Based on their description it sounded like a lubrication issue and not power. I charged mine fully and then ran it from 100 to about 38 percent. While running it I flexed the head around noting when it would slow down and would roll it around that spot until I heard the motor speed catch back up. It only took this one cycle of running and flexing now my battery drain is gone. I used it for about 15 minutes and consumed about 10% battery.As for tugging and pulling I always make sure my hair is as short as possible before using and as always this shaver works better wet than dry. If you absolutely must it can be run dry but for your own comfort, efficiency and closeness of shave, use some shaving product for best results.Brio’s customer service is top notch, any of these negative reviews should reach out to them for support pre replacement. They will take care of you.

Well I got mine and was excited to see what Brio had done to make the Brio 2.0 better. I love my beardscape and thought this could be my go to head shaver.Sadly it’s not the quality I was hoping for, for $80 USD and it ripped my head up! The shave was not good and I personally can’t recommend the brio 2.0 based on the unit I got. The head was very wobbly and felt cheap! Hopefully I just got a bad unit because normally I am excited about Brio products but this one was returned. The coating on the blades started coming off during the first shave! It just doesn’t feel like it’s the Brio quality, I’ve become used too! I’ve been shaving my head for a year and my old Remington balder pro is still a lot better and sharper than this, and I’ve never changed the blades. Hopefully others will have a better experience and I just got a dud.

The media could not be loaded. Bad product! Battery ends in seconds! The shaver is super expensive and is hurting my head! Terrible in every way!

The shave quality is decent but still requires multiple passes. The problem with that is if you have sensitive skin irritation can occur. The battery charges fairly fast but runs out of power in very little time. The unit is easy to use but doesn’t come with attachments. The value is really worth the money, unfortunately.

It doesn't Nick. But you have to go over it multiple times for it to shave. It came with a holder, case, cord, and cleaning brush. It constantly beeps every 30 seconds to a minute like it's about to cut off. Which is a little annoying. I do love the fact that it shows you the battery life. It's easy to clean when you dry shave. And this lightweight. Tried it on Fair and I tried it on coarse hair still the same results

I purchased the Brio Raze Head Shaver and got a solid 7 months of good use. Then the motor wore out. Awesome customer service! Brio is replacing my product with the updated unit. I was going to leave a 4 star but the service overcame that hiccup, so 5stars! Super easy to find their customer service on the Brio website. This is a small company and they have superb customer service that I doubt the big competitors have. I spoke to a real person. Anyway, love the easy features, the shave quality is great, and customer service is a 10!

I watched the video of this product performance before purchasing and the video claimed it was number one for closeness for bald men. Well, I'm a bald man and it did not perform as suggested. I also purchased the pre-shave oil and post-shave oil and the pre-shave was to make the shaver glide better for a closer shave, well it did nothing for a closer shave. I do not recommend this product for bald men if you are looking for a closer shave. I'm going back to my disposable razors.
