Advance Time 6200AT Touch-Activated LCD Alarm Clock

I needed a digital clock with second "hands". This is one of a very few that has this feature. So this clock certainly meets my criteria and it is good for the price. Yes, I would buy this again.A limitation is that this is an older style LCD display. That means if you are more than 30 degrees off of looking straight on, the display becomes hard to read. Blue backlighting is nice but you have to touch the top of the case to activate it, then it goes off after 5 seconds or so. It would be much more useful if this is light sensored or have some way to leave the light on.The light "switch" at the top is a capacitive sensor, so it has to be a human finger that's touching it. You cannot tape something to leave the light on. I understand this is a battery saving feature, but it does limit its usefulness.Would I buy this again? I probably would. This is one of the least expensive clock with seconds display.

This alarm clock is so wonderful in some ways but frustrating in others. I love that it doesn't light up, but the way you set the alarm is with buttons on the back of it, so if you are tired and want to change the alarm time it's a bit of a task. I also don't care for the way the light flashes when the alarm goes off. But it's great that everything sets automatically when you pick your preferred time zone.

The clock needs to be near the same level as your head to read it clearly. So if the clock in on the floor next to the bed you cant read it unless you lay it on its back but then the snooze button is more difficult to hit.

The clock is exactly as advertised and is an excellent deal for the price. I gave 4/5 rating because when the clock arrived its screen was scuffed (was not protected by any film as one would have expected).Other than this, it is almost perfect. Two more features I would have loved to have: 1) ability to control the alarm volume, and s) ability to select the alarm tune (at least from 2 or 3 options), but there is only one tune.

I bought this clock because I like battery powered clocks. When the alarm goes off, I like to pick up the clock, snooze it, and keep it right next to my pillow. This clock is great when it's working. I saw a review on another forum regarding the short battery life for this clock. I still went ahead and bought it, because why not.After I got my clock, I found some AAA batteries I had laying around and used it for the clock. It lasted for about 2 weeks. I thought ok, maybe the batteries are just bad, so I bought brand new AAA Dual Cell batteries, not some generic store brand. Those batteries only lasted about 3 weeks before the clock stopped working again.If you are going to make a battery powered clock, seriously, make sure it lasts more than a month. This is unacceptable.

Really cute alarm clock and easy to set. Unfortunately I can't use it because it is way too quiet!!! No way to adjust the volume. Did not wake me up :( Otherwise it would have been perfect.

NIce clock. Great to have in case of power outage. I just wish the blue light popped on in the dark rather just when it's touched
