It feels sturdy once put together, and the side entry design is perfect for cats to slip in and out comfortably. Her cat figured it out right away! It is easy to clean since it is a melamine-type material and easy to wipe down. It's very functional and serves as the litter box cabinet as well as a place to put things on top of. No safety issues were noticed with the cabinet. It looks more like a small piece of furniture than a litter box, which makes it a great value for the price.
