I asked the company directly and they said "Our glass water bottle is made in Japan. The silicone sleeve and cap are made in China. Assembled and shipped from China. Lead Free and BPA Free."

Can this bottle fit in a bicycle's water bottle holder?

It fits mine just fine. It is indeed heavy and not so easy to take it out while riding due to the silicon but works fine otherwise. I used this water bottle on my 3-4 hrs rides for the last 5-6 years. If your water holder is not made from thin plastic, it should hold ok.
