I don't like matte now because my lips looked like dry clay, their isn't any moisture in this product. It may be matte but does it have to look so darn dry while wearing?

When you pull the application brush from the container it is goopy and weird, but when applied it is smooth and natural looking. It does not dry out my lips, which I love. I just wish it wasn't so gloppy. I need to be very careful when applying it to my lips.
