So sad part was I bought this kind of towards the end of summer so I didn't really get to use it much at my job but I work as a mechanic and trying to stay cool out in the summer heat of Arizona definitely sucks it has definitely got a pretty good build quality but I would not recommend dropping it cuz it does look like the plastic might be a little bit flimsy however it does come with a USB power cable initially when I bought it I thought it had a battery built into it but it does not so you do need to run it off of either a USB adapter or off of a wall adapter for your phone what's nice about it is it does come with a 1.1 gallon tank and an auto timer in different fan adjustable ability speeds so if you have cold water to put in it it works best or a little bit of ice cubes it makes it run a little bit cooler however it does have a built-in cooler inside of it and it does cool the water down eventually so you can put warm water in it I would suggest refraining from hard water cuz this would clog up the filter and make it not work as efficiently but working as a mechanic outside it definitely gives me a nice Cool breeze when I go to my toolbox so I definitely enjoy it I would suggest it if you're looking for a good portable fan that can work for you at work be careful though not to overfill it cuz obviously it'll leak from the top but if you put it on a level surface you should be okay

I have no idea why the rating for this AC fan is good. I had little hope to begin with, but after reading the reviews I decided to give this a try. With high hopes, I waited for the arrival. Immediately upon receiving, I open right away. First thing I notice was, this is NOT a new AC fan !!!!!! I received someone else’s return item. The charging cord wasn’t even tie. It’s just thrown in the box loosely. Very disappointed I plugged in the fan, followed the instructions and closed the door to the room. After an hour, I went back into the room and …. NO improvement, it’s just as hot even worst cause now it’s hot and humid !!! Can’t feel any temperature drop and the carpet in front of the fan was wet, where the mist comes out of the hole. So I thought maybe I must put ice for it to work. After putting a lot of ice, I closed the door again and waited …. After another hour I went back in, AGAIN more humidity, it’s worst than the first time. Carpet is even more wet and room was just as hot. RETURN !!!!! I hope no body else get this return return fan. DON’T believe the reviews. It’s just a waste of time and effort !!!

This is a pretty silly, almost useless product. I live in the mid-west in an area of only moderate heat and low humidity and bought this during a heat wave to provide a little relief. I wasn’t expecting a full AC unit or anything, but the other reviews gave me hope that it would be a little more cooling and effective than a standard fan. However, it’s basically just a tiny fan that you can only feel if you are sitting directly in front of the product (2-3 feet max). It does NOT cool down a room, and barely even impacts the small area around the fan. The “cooling” effect is extremely minimal (basically you can only feel it if you put your hand right under the mist blowers), and only works for a short time before the ice melts - after that it just blows ambient temperature air. The fan is a very low power and speed, even at the highest level, so you are much better off investing in a regular fan for half the cost. My standard tower fan does a much better job of cooling an area and room. It isn’t extremely noisy, but it does make noise and I noticed some rattling of the fan. The decorative lights are fun, but that’s not why I bought the fan. Also, the indicator lights by the buttons are extremely bright when placed in a dark room, and the decorative lights don’t fully turn off, so if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, this is not ideal. Don’t waste your time or money on this - just go buy an actual AC unit or proper fan!

This item cools an area about 3 ft and literally soaks everything too near it. I will keep it because it's helpful if you have nothing else. It works but in order for it to cool you without destroying your furniture you have to place it approx 4 1/2 ft from furniture or anything you value because it will get wet. Keeping it that far away makes it to where you can't really feel its benefits. It's cheap plastic like a toy. It is very small for 60.00. I bought it because my air conditioning quit on me and is still out. The coolness is not noticeable after humidity in home goes up over 81%. But with humidity under that it does help some to cool off a bit so I'm keeping it. One great thing is that it doesn't use much electricity but I do recommend a much longer USB cord for it because you don't want it to have it too close to a wall outlet putting out a lot of wetness that I think could cause a very dangerous electrical hazard. I have to keep a close eye on it and be sure the cord is out of way so it doesn't get wet too.

I am only returning this because it is so loud. On the lowest setting the noise bearable, but when you go higher it’s so annoying. So if you think you can handle that, I would recommend this product. I personally am very sensitive to loud noises. Other than that it works really well and feels really cool. It’s a pretty good value for money and comes in clutch during a hot summer day. It’s does condensate a lot as well, but I think that’s normal. If you have a small room, then this would probably coold down your entire room. My room is medium size and it’s only cool within a certain radius of the device, or at least only on the lowest fan speed. Maybe it would cool more area on the higher speeds.
