My granddaughter loves edamame. I sautéed the edamame in this chili paste and it was delicious! The chili paste is really great and not overpowering with the garlic. I also sautéed some fresh green beans with a little soy sauce and the chili paste made it that much more tasty! It’s a good product. I was very pleased with the flavor. Good price too!

I use this on very important recipes and it's imperative that I always have it on hand. It's just hard to believe Amazon would package glass jars in an envelope.

My goal was to find a replacement for the popula Chili Garlic Sauce. I've used it for decades; I can't find that anywhere, so I bought this.It's not bad. There's an immediate peppery bite, lingering tingling, nice vinegar hit, good after-burn. Really, it's not bad, especially if you're using it in ramen or something that needs some character in a splash.My only problem, and this may be a personal thing that nobody else in the world cares about, but the sauce I'm trying to replace is cured through fermentation, not temperature. To me, it makes a world of difference. This Dynasty Chili Garlic Sauce is 5% sodium.... more than enough to ferment it. Five percent sodium is about 10% canning salt, by weight of ingredients.... fermentation occurs at room temperature with 1-2% sodium in this model.They preserve it by cooking it. It's obvious by the texture, mouthfeel, and flavor. This is not my preference. Maybe you'll try it and think it's just perfect. I wouldn't argue with your belief. For me, though, having had one kind for most of my life, this one just doesn't cut it.I hope this helps others who are looking for a replacement for the green cap Chili Garlic Sauce we all crave.
