My wife and I built an Overlanding Suburban a few years ago and this spring I installed this privacy shower. We coupled it with a portable propane water heater so we could enjoy warm and private showers as desired. We finally got a chance to use this shower over the long Memorial holiday and it's sort of a game changer.Setting up the enclosure is fairly straight forward and if you're handy with tools, etc.... you'll figure out YOUR installation easily. Once attached to the Burb, everything tightly fits into the storage/travel bag and after putting 220 miles on the weekend trip I feel the brackets will hold and stay in place. I had no issues with anything going anywhere during my drive time.I have to talk about the build quality. Overall, this privacy tent's price point needs to be kept in mind. For the money I find this unit a good value. BUT, you need to treat and handle this enclosure appropriately. The arms are light, the hinges are lighter and if not treated appropriately or allowed to receive a huge gust of wind I can see how it may get damaged. BUT AGAIN..... keep in mind the price point!!!! I will not complain but I see a far better (and far more costly) shower in our future. This is a great means of testing this aspect of your camping life without chunking out a big hunk of cash first.In closing. This shower/privacy enclosure functions well with reasonable handling. We do not use the top cover nor ever need to plug in the light. I did test both and both are easy to incorporate into the whole. The dry flap inside is far more useful than you would think and the ability to roll down the window to access things in the vehicle is awesome. We didn't use it but you can also move from inside the vehicle to the shower and back again if desired.Some people/person put a lot of thought into making this very inexpensive, well designed shower enclosure and I personally can say............. Highly Recommended

I recently took it on a camping trip to test it out, and at firat it was great especially with the full back access to the side door of my car I loved that feature. However, there was unexpected increase of wind that night, 16-20km/hr, which broke the brackets that holds the arm open (as shown in the picture) . It completely bent the brackets! And it was on one side only, the other side was okay. I was very upset as I was expecting it to at least last for few trips, and not break on first trip.

Works well with a roof rack on Gladiator. I did get screw-in anchors to fight windy days at the beach. Anchoring it properly is crucial to protect the horizontal support locks from failing. The 600D is heavy and waterproof. The ventilation and zipper window is a nice thoughtful addition. The lights are a nice feature our little ones appreciate. I'm a larger guy and have no issues using this for our shower/potty area. So far its held up tow a couple outtings, and being mounted full-time on the roof rack. Doubles as a quick place to change out of sweaty clothes. Its quick to fold out and secure after a few trial runs. A lot of thoughtful design went into this and it shows. Being mindful of windy days and proper anchoring the base. I think this should last several years with proper care. This would fit on our bed rack if I had very tall brackets.

Setting it up is a breeze, and during our camping trip, I utilized it as both a shower and a bathroom. I placed our chemical toilet inside, and it worked perfectly. The material is so opaque that you can't see through it at all, ensuring a secure and secluded space for all your needs. Overall, it created an exceptionally private and comfortable environment while enjoying the great outdoors.

This little tent is excellent for multiple uses. It’s easy to set up and you can’t see through it at all so it’s a very private space. I used it as a changing room when I got a booth at the local Saturday market and it was excellent.

Came with a few tiny holes in the roof. Also a lot of pinholes where Velcro was stitched on to outside is full of holes! The hinges are cheap cheap cheap and another review confirms they will fail!Retuning it!

If you want to get squeaky clean while camping, this one's got your name on it. It's total privacy with some breathability. It does look drab, but fits right in.
