Pretty but stubborn paper.
So here is the weird thing, I had a friend visiting in Japan bring me back a bunch of origami paper, this being one of the packages. At time time I cut it into strips to fold Lucky Stars and it worked beautifully! A couple years later I thought...hmmm, I want some more of that paper, this time to use for origami that requires square sheets, most likely I will cut it into smaller squares since I prefer smaller paper. Before I could get around to cutting it, I thought of a project that required 100 sheets of larger paper (specifically 100 Water Bombs to be used as lanterns on LED lights)I honestly do not know what this paper's problem is, the best way to describe it is stubborn. It doesn't want to fold right, when folding instead of being smooth it clumps up. It is stiff in a strange way, confusing since the paper itself is pretty thin. I thought perhaps it was something wrong with my technique so I folded a Water Bomb out of a sheet of some plain old origami paper and it turned out fine. It is like the paper only likes being flat or folded in small ways.I dunno, I would probably buy this paper again if I could find it fairly cheap, but I would certainly only use it for modular designs that do not require many folds, especially angular one. It is a shame this paper is so stubborn because I absolutely love the patterns.

Delightful results
Used this paper for a project to 20 girls who were not familiar with origami. They created one project at the party and took 3-4 sheets of paper home with them.Several girls or parents have asked where they could purchase more of this paper - they were happy with the results and enjoyed working with it, including the young lady who lead the group project.I was impressed by the quality of paper for the inexpensive price as well as the artistic beauty of the illustrations on the paper. Will gladly purchase more of this product for future projects.

lightweight but nice
I folded all of the papers into cranes and the weight was perfect for that. I tried using scrapbook paper first but that was way too thick and was much harder to do. This paper is lightweight and perfectly suited for cranes or similar projects. The colors and prints are nice, with the little prints being fairly vivid and the background being more like a watercolor in intensity. Would purchase again.

Great creasing
The paper is beautiful. There is a great variety of prints. The main reason I like this paper is how thin it is. It makes it so much easier to make folds on small paper. I am trying to fold miniature cranes-smaller than a quarter. I am not there yet, but this is the best paper to use! I used to teach my 5th graders origami and wish I would have had this paper back then. I will buy again.

Pretty
I think this is a great buy. All of the patterns are appealing. I'm getting another package. I just wish that the paper was a bit better quality. It's not the worst by any means. It is a thin style of paper with a pleasing matte finish.

Nice Surprise
I've worked with different types of origami styles for over 50 years and, this is the first time I've bought the paper online. I'm very impressed with the good quality and price of the Origami Fancy Paper as well as how good the photo and the actual product match. It's a little thicker than the thin origami paper I use yet, holds good sharp folds w/o the print rubbing off (with results of a white line). Remember to keep the paper in the sleeve it comes in or in a box or the paper will begin to curl. Happy origami! Jane Hiro

Worth the purchase.
Lovely paper. I've been enjoying it. Folds nicely, and is fine enough thickness that I am able to cut each into smaller squares to work with when I feel like it. Worth the purchase.NOTE! The company that packages it is indeed Japanese, HOWEVER the paper itself states on the back "MADE IN THAILAND"- it is not manufactured in Japan.

This is surprisingly good origami paper
This is surprisingly good origami paper. I was worried since other reviews said this was basically the Japanese dollar store equivalent, but I didn't need to be. The colors are crisp and not faded, the four patterns are pleasing to the eye, it folds like regular origami paper, and you get 100 sheets. If you want patterned paper that wont make you feel bad for spending large amounts of money on just paper, definitely buy this, you can't go wrong.
