Does this rail mount with only 2 screws?

it does, they are the larger #8 screws. but the receiver is drilled and tapped for 2 screws. thank you geo

It has been awhile but if I remember correctly the screws are included. Screws are normally included with all scope mounts.

Will this fit a Savage 24?

it will not. 42 a way different gun with two drilled and tapped holes on top and flat on top. no go.
