More good QUTA leather tools, good working, and fair price. I have 3 different sets in sizes, plus a number of other tools from them. I have around 2 years now in leather, same tools, some with a sharpening on 2k emory paper to keep the edges. I'm no pro, but doing leather worked gifts is always a good thing for the seasons. Nope, no pay, just an opinion.

This is one of the first leathercrafting tools I ever got. Since then, I've gotten several very nice French irons, and they're great, but I still use these all the time. They are so useful for any time I want to turn an item inside out, or if I just want to mark out a certain amount of stitches accurately. Great deal , can't beat it. Replaceable teeth make this thing unbreakable, really. Very accurate size of stitch spacing. The pin pricks make it very easy to pass though thick leather.

Great replacement nice and sharp

So, I thought I ordered a set of punches, small box arrived with one eight point punch and a bag of replacement points, for $44? Haven't found anyone else to contact, so posting it here. Buyer beware, I guess.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this because of the positive reviews. I like the changeable tips but the hole punches are not sharp and barely functional as it requires serious hammering. Holes are also too small which makes hand stitching very difficult on veg tan. This might be ok for softer chrome tanned leather where the Holes will stretch a little. Was not happy using with 5/6oz veg tan. Better luck with cheaper options.

This is a very nice set of punches and the tubes are pretty sharp and punch through moderate thickness leather. I do not like the tiny allen wrench or hex screws that hold the tube in place. I had to spray paint the allen wrench neon colors to be able to see or find it. Also, the punched leather circles have a tendency to get stuck in the little vents. If the manufacturer wants feedback, please make bigger screws and bigger outputs for the waste leather. Despite these complaints the tool works very well and I have only needed to replace one split tube after about 5 projects.

I have been doing leather work for the past 25 years and have used all sorts of different equipment over the years. These punches are excellent quality that rivals other brands that cost 3 times the price of these. the handles are robust and comfortable in my hand and the tips are easy to replace with the allen wrench that comes with the punches. I have used the punches with both a mallet and a hand press and as you can see in my pictures they work well. I was using a 9-12oz vegetable tanned harness leather and both tips punched through the leather with no issues at all. The holes are clean and punched through the entire thickness easily. In my opinion these are great punches for the price.
