Marriage is a learned behavior with learning!This book contains short chapters that get right to the point. My husband and I use this as a reference book by looking up the topics we may be struggling with or want to improve on and we read that one chapter together then discuss.I’ll be honest, my man can get defensive when he feels like I want to improve things and as a lady, I am simply continually on a journey of personal development which can cause plenty of shifts in perspective and miscommunications as I expand my own perspectives and continue to learn this marriage thing. (21 years and still learning together!)This book bridges communication between men and women and I highly recommend it to any couple.

Didn’t like the content

As a middle aged woman, when I read this slimmed down little primer, I told my boyfriend "You want to understand exactly how I think and feel? Read this book!" We have since been married and refer to it time and again. Sometimes I need reminding, and sometimes he does. But the advice and common sense approach is excellent. And it works! I give a copy to couples as a wedding present. Knowledge is power, and this easy, quick read will provide a lot of positive power for both people to truly understand and work together. We really do think differently from one another. Use the book to get past those communication barriers, and past the down times in the relationship, and any couple can fall in love again.

All of the books in this series are amazing. I don't think I could communicate as well before reading it. It was like, "It's so simple, how could I have missed it? And why did no one tell me?" If you have any issues with relationships at all, or are looking for one, get all the books, read them all.

This book is everything. Everyone should have a copy.

I got this book after seeing the recommendation on a blog I read. My blog friend was right...this book does explain a lot. My fiance also started reading this book and was a lot more thoughtful afterwards.

I received my order very quickly and in excellent shape. I have not read these books yet but so far I have always enjoyed reading John Gray's books, so I am sure I will receive a lot of benefit from reading these when I get the chance.
