Warning to anyone programming this Chinese knockoff to door opener with a YELLOW learn button: the instructions are confusing and written by someone who likely doesn’t have a firm grasp on the English language. I gave up and consulted Google Gemini and explained to it I was trying to program a Chinese knockoff version of the 893MAX to a door opener with a yellow learn button. The Google AI explained in proper English that in the case of a yellow button, you have to first set the learn mode of the remote to the yellow button mode: 1. Enter Program Mode: Simultaneously press and hold the two smaller/outer buttons at the same time. Hold them until the LED on the front starts flashing (usually about 4 flashes), then release. 2. Set the Frequency: Since you have a Yellow Learn Button, you must tell the remote to use that specific frequency. Press and release the button you want to use EXACTLY 1 time. 3. Exit Program Mode: Press any OTHER button on the remote once to "lock in" that setting. The LED should stop flashing. 4. Sync to the Opener: Go to your garage door motor unit and press/release the Yellow Learn Button (don't hold it, just a quick tap). 5. Final Pair: Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button you chose on the remote. Release it as soon as the garage lights flash or you hear two clicks.

You can program both older garage door openers and also the newer smart systems on this same remote. Worked great!

good price, so far battery life is good. very easy to use, opens and closes garage door fast.

Bought this in July 2024 to replace another LiftMaster Brand remote that had some heat damage from being left in a vehicle in Texas heat. I would advise against this, as I had advised my kids on the subject. However some people don't listen as they think they know everything and claim they have a third lung. I suppose they were wrong on both accounts. Anyway. The training on this remote was easy. Didn't lose the code. However, as of 3 weeks ago this product lost its way. It refused to open the garage door (either one). On button push the led shines brightly and it does appear to send a signal as the both door openers would blink on push of the button, but during the training process, no amount of repetition would get this grey and black waste of space to sync. So that's about 9 months of use, only to be reduced to a tent city residence ornament.
