Not even an empty physical game key card
This isn't a review of the game itself. It's been universally acclaimed. This is about the game only including a code to download the game. If you're not familiar with what this entails, these are the reasons this is awful:1. Since this isn't on a physical game cartridge, you cannot sell/trade this game after you complete it. Many consumers do this towards purchases of new games.2. They could've, but didn't provide Nintendo's "Game Key Card" system. GKC's are empty physical cartridges that still require you to download the game. The GKC's only contain an authorization code that simply allow you to start the game. It's a crappy system, but at least you can sell/trade in the game later.3. Split Fiction is 69 GB. That's 1/3 of the total storage on the Switch 2. If other games are similarly sized, it means you can only have 3 games on the Switch at a time. I'm not faulting it for that, but this makes #1 and #2 that much worse.4. It's a waste of plastic and space. It's actually just an empty box with no benefit over simply downloading the game straight from Nintendo.

a fun time to be had
A wonderful co-op experience that is truly cross platform through the EA account

So dissapointing
I could have been playing this game with my kid the whole time I waited for it in the mail. It’s an ordinary download code, and an empty slot where the cart should be.They could have put a cart which triggered the game download. That’s not this. They could have at least made a case unique to these sad little slips of paper to display them so they look less sad. I’d have given two stars for lovingly displayed card stock. I’d still be incredibly disappointed. This is the zero-effort choice.

THIS IS A SCAM
DO NOT BUY THIS. I replaced the first one because the code said it had already been used only for the second one to be the same way. The first came with no packaging (which I thought was weird and then was right). No matter I’ll do a switch because surely it was a mistake. The second came rapped like someone did it at home. THIS IS A SCAM.

It's not even a KeyCard
It's just a paper with a code, is not even this new KeyCards thing. It's just wasting plastic and transport costs for a literal code... Don't do it, just buy from the store at this point.

No game included
No game in box, only a code. Such a waste of resources.

Misleading. Not a physical cartridge
No physical game. Just a code in a box. Very misleading.

Not a physical game
Just a code in a box. Won't be receiving anything inside.
