3 Cuttings of Perennial Kosmic Kale Per Package

I really only wanted one plant, but ordered the 3-cuttings pack. When it arrived, a fourth cutting was in here, I guess as insurance. Well, all four cuttings are rooting well, I’m happy to say. Looks like I shall have a Purple Tree Collard forest! (Actually, I plan to rehome my spares.) They seem like strong starts, and continue to thrive, even after their first up potting. They DO like lots of water, so I suggest starting the cuttings with a bottom watering tray.

Customer Service Horrible! Purchased this item excited to try the collard tree that I’ve heard so much about. Unfortunately it’s not doing well, reached out indicating I was unhappy as it arrived wilted and is still wilted. Was hoping to receive some advice, friendliness, maybe some concern but received neither. Also challenging me that they sent five when I only received three which is also listed on my invoice.I still hope the collard tree springs back and if not I’ll try again elsewhere. Oh and yes Sir/Ma’am I did review the YouTube video.

The cuttings arrived looking ok, but no instructions on how to plant them. Three weeks later, I see roots! Looking forward to planting them outside after danger of frost passes.

Four cuttings arrived on June 18. I put them in the fridge and promptly forgot about them for a couple weeks. I eventually remembered and dipped them in rooting hormone, planted them in potting soil in small pots and set them outside in a shady location. I believe they are growing roots because they are actively growing new leaves and look very healthy. I have now moved them into the sun part of the day and will be planted them in the ground in another week or so.

My husband and I have purchased this product and its been about 2 months and it finally started to grow leaves. I'm guessing it takes a long time to grow. If you have patience this is the product for you.

Unfortunately I had to leave town unexpectedly when my cuttings were due to arrive. They sat for almost 24 hours in my mailbox in Las Vegas on a day when temperatures were in the high 80's and low 90's. After unpacking, I put them in water immediately (there were four cuttings, BTW) to revive them. They all came back and now, a week later, they look healthy and no worse for the wear. Other people are able to grow this perennial in our heat and I'm looking forward to harvesting my first batch of greens (purples?) from this rare plant.

I bought these twice, 1st time I thought it was my fault as I didn't get them potted in time. (No roots) Comes with no instructions and 2nd time I went on YouTube for assistance as seller never responded to my request. When they died the 2nd time without a hint of survival. Nevermind that seller sent as many as 6 plants, twice nothing is still zero. I promised myself I wouldn't get another without roots. I now have 3 from an Etsy seller for about the same price I wasted on the these and they are thriving well.
