iTouchless 13 Gallon Sensor Garbage Can with Odor Control System, Stainless Steel, Round Touchless Automatic Trash Bin for Kitchen and Office

This fits perfectly under our counter & the motion detection works well. We opted for the ax adapter since we have an outlet handy. The metal is rather thin, so as stated in other reviews, expect at least one dent upon arrival. It was packaged well & there were no signs of damage to the box, so suspect the dents are happening at the factory which speaks to quality control. My hubby was able to get most of the dent out, so not too visible. He also was smart enough to loop the bag over the band & hang the the bag top inside instead of the sloppy way I had it (hanging out)! ha! Overall happy with the can, but feel the manufacturer should provide a discount back for customers who have received dinged items & don’t want to hassle with return/replacement when there’s a good change the replacement will have the same issue. I sent the seller a message in hopes they stand behind their product & do the right thing. This is what makes or breaks future purchases from the same company.

Does the job and is a good size for our kitchen. The batteries lasted about a month so we bought the power cable. As for being dog proof, it was at first. But, it took about 5 weeks for our Aussie-Beagle to figure out how to pounce on the sensor and open it. We just keep it locked now and it’s not a problem.

These automatic trash cans only last 2 or 3 years for us. They break, and we replace them. It is worth it to us for the convenience that the product provides.

We really like this product. The lock that you can turn to ensure the lid doesn't raise up if the dog attempts to get into is great! We lock it manually as needed. We have a diabetic dog and if she accidentally gets into the trash and eats something that is forbidden it would be very serious issue. Our dog learned quickly how to put his head on the sensor to open the lid, but it's impossible with the manual lock. Thank you

I have this exact brand can and same gallon capacity in my home. Ordered another for my office and it is 6" shorter.Works great. I just wish it were taller.

For many years, our household survived just fine with a basic garbage can with a foot-activated lid. It worked great, and it was inexpensive. Then we got a puppy with an active mind for mischief. Having a puppy in the house made us realize that our trash can was sooo old and not technologically advanced. Normally, I am plenty okay with this, but the regular dumpster diving deeds of our dog forced us to get with the times.The initial lid had a problem closing all the way, but iTouchless rectified that blisteringly fast after I'd contacted them, sending us a brand new lid. (Thanks!)Overall, the trash can works great. The sensor can be a little finicky, however, although maybe I'm just too fast for it, or maybe the trash in my hands isn't something the sensor cares to sense. The bigger issue I had with the can, though, is the design of the odor eliminator bag holder, or maybe it's the way it clips into the lid. The holder doesn't really securely stay held in, and in fact, I discovered recently that it had fallen into the trash bag at some point when someone else in the family put something in the trash. Since they weren't aware of the perilous nature of the odor eliminator bag holder, they didn't realize they had to keep watch for it falling into the trash bag. Only when I pulled the trash bag out to empty it did I see that the holder was gone, and I wasn't about to dig through trash to find it.So, we are now without the odor elimination feature. But all in all, it's a great product, and I recommend it. Just watch out for your odor eliminator bag holder...thing.

I bought the itouchless trash can about a year and a half ago. I didn’t mind paying a little more for the ac adapter so I wouldn’t have to worry about batteries wearing out.We got used to the sensor. We learned when you open it, make sure to throw the garbage away quickly before the lid shuts. After a few slow tosses and the trash landing on top of the suddenly closed lid, you learn to adjust. We don’t mind that when our cat jumps onto the counter she sometimes inadvertently makes the lid open.So now that we’ve all adjusted to it and really like it, out of nowhere the lid suddenly stopped opening all the way. It only opens half way and sounds really weak doing so. I don’t think the motor is built to last. The trash can only has a one year warranty so im out of luck. Most trash cans last several years. In fact I still have the old foot petal one that the itouchless replaced. It’s just in a different room. (Soon to be back in the kitchen with the itouchless can promptly inside of it)I contacted customer service and they gave me a troubleshooting option that didn’t work. They now want my receipt and date of purchase which I can predict will tell me I need to buy a new one since it’s out of warranty. Wish I would’ve saved my money. I guess not everything in the house has to be high tech….Update: they are replacing the lid for a $10 shipping fee even though it was past warranty.

Love the product HOWEVER, For the cost a power supply should be included. It is recommended separately in the packaging

Shorter than I thought

This is honestly infuriating 🤬The Amazon page and the pamphlet that came with it show two different battery typesNo one could tell me what batteries were actually neededAfter buying both, the garbage still does not workThey state they have great customer service, well I’ve emailed 8 times, have called daily and have submitted a request on their website to have no reply.I would have returned this however I have 2 sets of batteries that I’ve spent money on that I cannot return AND the garbage cans box doesn’t fit in my car so I’d have to borrow someone’s car to return it.Just absolutely ridiculous all around.Save your money, get any other brand

Horrible. Nothing worked, it overheated, there was no wire in the package i had to use one of my own and the customer service was horrible it looks like they sent me an old one that someone had already sent back. It looks like it been used and it’s broken

C’est la deuxième que j’achète,car la première je m’étais trompé de grandeur. Mais vu qu’elle fonctionnait très bien et que la qualité du produit est bonne j’ai décidée de prendre celle-ci.Malgré que je l’aime il y a parfois le détecteur qui ne fonctionne pas tout le temps 😕 il faut je l’éteint et la rallume plusieurs fois pour que le détecteur ré fonctionne. Pour le reste c’est un bon produit.Je ne sais pas si c’est l’adaptateur,car je la Connecte directement à la prise électrique ce qu’est très avantageux qu’à utiliser des batteries.
