Works on fleas. Seriously. I used these originally a little over 3 years ago after I spotted a cockroach. The next year comes around, roaches have been gone, but my dogs had fleas. Fleas are really bad in our area, and using advantage or frontline just doesn't make much difference. One of my dogs is allergic to fleas, so it's horrible for him. I realized that we haven't had fleas in the last year. So I buy these discs once again, and we wait it out. poof, fleas completely gone a few months later. I've purchased these and replaced them every 3 months since. It's been 2 years now, and my dogs are still completely flea free. Sure, I'll see one or 2 occasionally that must have hitched a ride in on a dog leg, but they've not itched, or had any on their skin in 2 years. We don't even have to waste money on ineffective topical flea treatments. I will purchase as long as I continue to have dogs. Bonus- they also work on pantry months that hitch a ride in my bird food.

This is not an instant solution. Once you crack these and install them, the roaches dont just dissapear. This impacts the life cycle so that new roaches are not introduced. Do it for at least 2 cycles and i would suggest doing the refresh at 2months early on on until you see the reduction. I've been using them consistently for a few months with refreshing them and I don't see the critters any more.

Convenient to use and although it seems pricey, it is a good value for how effective and long lasting it is. The box contains 20 discs- one is supposed to treat up to 75 square feet for 3 months. I use them a little more liberally than one for every 75 square feet, just to ensure the whole area is covered. They make no mess, no smell, and are easy enough to tuck out of sight. After a few months, the roaches stop coming back entirely. Keep treating and you'll never see them. It *works*. I used it at first combined with some bait gel (advion) but now just the Gentrol is enough to keep roaches from ever coming back and infesting. This is in an area that would normally be considered "prime real estate" for German cockroaches. They can't survive or grow around Gentrol discs.Highly recommended if you need real solutions for roaches.

the first time i bought it, I didn't squeeze hard enough to break the glass tubes that held the liquid. When i figured that out, it worked well.it takes a long time to work, since it works on ending generations of bugs. It doesn't kill them. They walk over it and it creates servility in the next generations. I started to see insects with distorted wings and legs, they lived their normal lifespan and competed with the non-mutated bugs for resources.It has been a few months and they are almost all gone now. I have not used any poisons in the house, so it is working to get rid of them.It is good, just not fast.
