They are cheap, and they flicker. But they don’t anything like a real candle. In the photo they look off white, like a normal candle. In reality they are very very ‘white’ cheap plastic, and that’s exactly what they look like.

These seem fine for the price. Stocked up early so we are ready for Christmas. The one we've tried so far doesn't seem to flicker very much but I can't work out whether that is good or bad - probably depends where you are using it.Gives a decent glow however in the nice ceramic lamp holder we got recently from our local garden centre.

Amazing. These look so pretty in my tea light holders. Much more realistic than the last battery ones I had (and safer than real flames with a very swishy Labrador tail in the vicinity!!!). Battery life is great. So far the ones I’ve used have been on every day since start of December and still going strong!)

All of them work, which is more than I can say for those I bought from a certain large craft chain. Not only that, they are a few pence cheaper. I can't speak for how long they last because I've not had them very long, but currently they are working delightfully in my Halloween luminaires that I made today.
