These protein bars are perfect for my grandsons. One is a football player and the other is a wrestler. After their weight trying workout they always want extra protein. They enjoy the taste, especially the peanut butter one. They are moist and the boys don't worry about becoming thirsty. Great buy and packs easily in their backpacks. Not messy when opened.

Love these protein bars and these hard to find flavors. I used to buy them at Costco but you can’t find this combo anymore. And the best part is these particular bars are only 4 points on Weight Watchers. Most other bars at 8-10 points!

Having tried over 20+ protein bars, the Kirkland brand bars are among the better ones. Most protein bars are gross, and this one is no exception. However, the flavors are consistent, and different enough from each other. With some bars, all of their flavors taste very similar. This one does not taste like a candy bar, as some others do. However, at 180-190 calories, it has 21-22 grams of protein, which is pretty good. In addition, each bar has at least 15g of fiber. I guess I would dock a star for the fact that the protein blend is a mix of milk protein isolate and whey protein isolate, as I would prefer more of the latter. Also part of that missing star is the texture of the bar, as it is very, very chewy. That said, it helps to slow down your eating, and fell fuller.

Can get cheaper at costco but I havent seen the cookies and cream lately at the store. which has the best macro to calorie ratios of all the flavors. So i get it here. Kirkland is probably the best bang for your buck for protein bars with the best macros per calorie

While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the reasonable price, I was surprised and disappointed at the quality of the wrapper, the lack of flavor, and the grainy texture. The wrapper is not easy to remove in general, but it seems impossible to remove just a portion at the top so you can hold the bottom with the wrapper intact thus not touching the bar which is sticky. It is not bad tasting but the flavor is bland and unsatisfying with just a hint of what is supposed otherwise be. The texture is grainy, not to the point where it is unpleasant to eat, but still off. Overall, if not for the good protein level I would not voluntarily choose to eat these.
