Great leather strap!Took a while to break in which is a good sign and now fits like a glove. Will buy more in the future.

Leather is soft and doesn’t require much breaking in. And the pins to attach it are so much easier to unhook than regular watch bands. Great price too.

The strap with quick release makes it easy to swap out. I like how there's no logo or extra printing other than indicating it's top grain leather and the strap size, unlike how some other straps put in their unknown branding somewhere that really limits the use on higher end watches. The material itself is advertised as top grain leather, but maybe it's the waxed finish that to me makes it feel stiff and almost plasticky, if it is indeed leather. The inside is more of a suede finish, so it feels a bit different than some of my other leather straps. There's also a rough piece of stitching on the inside that was pretty noticeable when wearing it. Otherwise, it's a nice looking strap, looks elegant and can be used to dress up or down a watch.

It was a replacement and was of equal quality.

This review will be based solely on handling the strap as it's intended watch had to go out for service and isn't expected to return for a while.This strap is a beautiful tan color with subtle variation and texture. The edges appear to be covered by folded outer surface leather and then glued and stitched under a suede backing. The suede backing is very soft and should be very comfortable. The outer perimeter of the strap has an embossed line between the stitching channel and the edge, adding visual interest. I was pleasantly surprised to find subtle yet noticeable padding giving the strap a pleasing curved shape. I scratched the surface of the leather with my fingernail, after rubbing with my fingertip the scratch was barely visible indicating some oily goodness in the leather. The plain buckle is mirror polished.I really appreciate the markings on the back of the band - Top Grain Leather - Hand Made - 22This makes it clear that the band was crafted with care from quality material and will be easy to match to the appropriate watch since my collection currently includes 18, 20 and 22mm straps.The band appears to be well made. I suspect this strap will patina beautifully and could be darkened with leather oil if desired.
