Best Trainer and Affordable
I have been really enjoying this balisong trainer for the last several weeks. I am new to flipping, and made the mistake of ordering a cheap generic balisong with a false edge. It looked really nice, but it fell apart on day 2. I ordered the Keedas red and blue handle trainer, and was really enjoying it. My only small complaint with that one is that it is a little slick in the hand and flew out of my hand fairly often due to the lack of grip on the sides of the handles. This one is great. I also have the Nabalis Vulp, and really like that one too. Truth be told, I prefer this one, and find it to be more grippy than the Keedas or Nabalis. When You factor in the price point at just $10 more than the Keedas and $20 less expensive than the Nabalis, this is the clear winner in my mind. I haven't had to adjust it at all. It has hit the ground often, and still has very little play. I love flipping it and am now pretty consistent with the index rollover and thumb rollover. I am practicing some other tricks now and will be trying to learn behind the eight ball soon. I am so glad that I found this one. I ordered about 8 different trainers after the cheap one broke. Balisong flipping is great fun, and this is my favorite trainer for the time being. I absolutely love the texture on the sides of the handle, and the jumping at the bottom outside and inside of the handle is really nice as well. For $45 you just can't go wrong with this one. I am going to order another one of these for my collection soon.

Most solid trainer for the money
I have tried several inexpensive trainers now. By far, this is the most solid one and the I rely on it. I also have a Vulp, a krake raken clone from Baliplus, a UFO from Flytanium, and several cheaper knives. Although the Vulp is decent, this beats it in every metric. It flips smoother, the grip is miles better, the jimping is similar. I will say that the Vulp is more handle biased, making it easier for chaplins (slightly) but really, this thing is much better in every other way. If you have trouble learning fans on the Vulp, this will be much easier in comparison. I cannot say enough good things about this blade. Watch out for a sale (I was able to snag it cheaper) and get one. You won't regret it - I plan on buying a few for friends.

Beginner Friendly
I went down this rabbit hole of a hobby fairly quickly. I got a Valorant Champions balisong about two weeks ago and saw very quickly how bad it was. I wanted a "good" one and fast. Like a lot of people, they don't want to go head first and want to explore the "cheap" options. I got a Marcolo C40 first and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. It was REALLY rough around the edges and it didn't make me want to flip AT ALL. I watched a lot of YouTube reviews and everyone kept talking about the Vulp, C116, Comet, Squiddy, etc. Like some of you, I still couldn't justify spending more than $30 on a hobby which I wasn't sure I wasn't going to like. Well, I found a MSGumiho G10 "tool" that was actually good and got me flipping. It still wasn't "great". It sounded chintsy even though it was a good flipper. I also had issues with the hardware backing out after a short time of flipping. Then I got a cheap plastic one, a squiddy clone. Let's just say it was gross. Now, most of you probably go through this progress. You spend $25 on your first "cheap" knife. Then you find another $19 "better but still cheap" balisong and then you spend another $17 because you found one that was actually "good" and then another $15 on another cheap balisong. At this point, you've spend more than what the Marcolo C116 costs or any of the "good" entry level balisongs, and all you have are 4 "cheap" balisongs that you won't really want to flip which defeats the purpose of the hobby. Bottom line, the Marcolo C116 is a great "entry-level" balisong that introduces you to some higher-end features. If you're new to the hobby, this is a really great balisong to get you flipping. Yes, it's not "cheap" by any means but consider the balisongs you'd be spending your money on before you bite the bullet and get to this one... That said, I say, skip all the junk, get this "entry-level" trainer NOW, and work on your tricks knowing it’s not the tool that’s messing you up.

Great butterfly knife but there is a slight amount of rust but I'm not sure if it's even rust.
Great quality and everything is great besides its day 2 of having it and there is already rust (only a little) around the blade screws. I dont know if its meant to or what but I did include a picture of it. Everything else is great though the weight distribution is amazing the grip is awesome it functions well and it's been insanely fun to use. I did try to remove the rust or whatever it is and nothing really happened but I can't really get down there to get it out. Other than the rust everything is great.

Amazing balisong for the price
Best balisong for under 70$ came with little to no play and no tap and after dropping it really hard still holds its tolerances

It’s good for the price
It flips pretty decent. It feels a little blade heavy.

Very smooth and fun
Great balisong, Very fun! Smooth flipping. Although after about 2-3 days it developed a little bit of play and tap. It has a great grip and blade design and good balance. It was my first one, but it was pretty easy to get the hang of. Does what it supposed to do.

Highly recommended for price and quality
I bought several trainers on Amazon, this one was by far the winner, even when compared to others that were $20 more. It came with minimal play and slowly breaks in, also comes with maintenance tools and liquids. Squiddy Industries could learn a thing or two from these guys. I just bought their purple orange combo with a smooth finish, we'll see if their quality is consistent.
