Our precious dark roast pays homage to the country that gave the world espresso gifts. Inspired by the tradition of roasting southern Italy, this multi-region blend is developed with notes of dark cocoa and toasted marshmallows, skillfully crafted to bring out sweetness and strength. It is slightly darker than our Starbucks Espresso Roast Coffee and has a deeper flavor with cream and sugar. Nestle uses Starbucks trademarks under license. Review: I would give this order 5 stars but I feel I must relay this information. This is my favorite coffee and I order it by the case. I keep the individual boxes of 10 in the shipping box until I am ready to use them. Today I pulled out the next to the last box in the case and it was the wrong coffee. Instead of Italian Roast it was Pike Place Roast. I will keep this and save for guests but it is not my choice. This product and delivery are generally perfect, so this obvious packing order will not deter me, unless it happens again. And for the record, this coffee is bold and strong. Fresh pods that are ultra convenient. Starbucks K-Cups are my go-to option because of their taste and consistency. I rotate among three varieties.

cannot beat the price per pod. beats my local supermarkets every order. we have this on subscription and it is very convenient. love the taste too, i drive past my local SB and just come home to make my brew. my wallet isn't as thin doing it this way.
