Fantastic drone
Before getting a professional and expensive drone, I practiced with some of the Holy Stone models. I recommend doing that so you can better understand the basics of flying. With the Mavic Air, I was sold on the safety features, such as having front, back, and below sensors that protect you from flying into trees or other objects. The sensors DO NOT WORK on "Speed Mode" so beware where you are flying. The app comes with all types of features, and you have complete control of the camera, altitude and distance maximum, and other features through the app. I like that it has a beginner mode. The camera is fantastic with 4K footage ( it also goes down to 720 or 1080). It's a lot of fun to fly and it's very easy to control. The best part is how it locks in position, so no matter where you are, it will stay put in the air until you tell it to go. Don't fly in strong wind of course, all machines have their limits. Important tip: Spend the extra money on the DJI Care Refresh package. You'll be thankful you bought it if you crash the drone. They replace it twice for a small fee.
