This has been great! Used it extensively through Covid and for baby bottles etc. it’s been 7 years and I’m reordering the same now. Didn’t need a replacement these past 7 years.

I needed to replace a higher-priced electric kettle that developed rust inside after just 8 months, and naturally, after the warranty expired. After reading hundreds of reviews of electric kettles, it seems rusting is a common complaint, even in models described as being rust-proof. I typically rely heavily on reviews when choosing among similar products, but in this case, the CHULUX Electric Kettle is a new product to Amazon, hence no reviews. I therefore chose this product based on the manufacturers promise of excellent customer service and a full one-year warranty. After checking the reviews for other CHULUX products sold on Amazon, I found numerous buyers were highly satisfied with their purchase as well as the response they received when communicating with customer service. Based on that, I have high expectations for my new electric kettle.

I wanted a kettle that could heat water to particular temperatures for tea. I had a few problems with this kettle:1. The box had obviously been opened before, it seemed like someone else had returned the kettle2. I live at a slightly higher altitude so boiling temperature is lower than 212 degrees. I currently have a kettle that senses when the water is boiling and turns off. When I set this kettle to 212, it said the maximum temperature it reached was 203 and kept boiling and would not turn off. This seems like an important safety feature.3. When the kettle was boiling, steam was escaping from the lid and steaming the electronics (see water droplets on inside of screen in picture).4. After using the kettle once, it started beeping every half hour and displayed the error "E3". I am not sure what the problem is but it does not work any more.

I bought this water kettle for my mother who likes to drink warm water during the day. After a lot of research I chose this because it was on sale and it has the keep warm function that many of the lower priced kettles did not have. She has been using it for a few months now and it works great. She only need to turn it on a few times a day and the water is the perfect temperature for her. Overall, this was a great purchase!

I am a tea drinker and purchased this to heat water. The variable temperature settings are great for teas that need to brew at select temperatures. Easy to use. Within two months, the top appeared to not close completely. (I fill my kettles from the spout, so I rarely push the button to open). The photo shows how it does not stay closed. I investigated and the plastic piece operating the lid is cracked, presumably from the heat generated from boiling water. I did not open/close the kettle using the button or use the hinge before it broke. I've had electric kettles for years and believe this is poor workmanship. I've given it 2 stars because it still "works" and boils water with the lid ajar, but of course it gives off tons of vapor and the water cools quickly. I would not purchase this item/brand again.

It has to be unplugged when not in use. Does the job but the issue with unplugging is irritating.

I bought it on January, but I didn’t write a review right away. Just cause I wanna see how it works. And I found out it is an awesome product I ever had. The best part of this electric digital kettle is the temperature control. I could keep the temperature of the water I want. I did not have to boil another hot water when the water get cold down. It came with a instruction manual. Very clearly shows up how to care and cleaning. Very recommend it!

I just love this for making my tea, it is easy to use and holds a lot of water. The only thing, as soon as I got it the lid broke - and I did not fill out any warranty so … I have to live with it. A little plastic piece broke that holds the lid in place and - I won't dare glue it (it's inside the pot). So, I put my honey jar on top while it is boiling … If you buy this product, fill out the warranty. If you don't get a lemon like I did, it's a great water pot.
