I purchased these for my husband to use after his recent surgery. They done the job that is intended. They are doing a wonderful job at compression but the issue he is having is that the banding at the top where the thigh is not working properly. After wearing for a while it seems to loosen up a bit. That is the only issue. We contacted the supplier and they quickly sent a replacement. He loves how they work, will buy again.

I developed varicose veins (I'm 78) which both my mother and younger brother have) The vascular doctor recommended compression sox thigh high and I ordered these. I also ordered a pair of knee high from a brand called SB Sox. (They don't make thigh high ones - not a lot of companies do.) Both pairs arrived next day via prime. I am 6' 3" and wear size 13 shoe. So I ordered large in black. I wore these first for a full day. It took a while to put on as they are nylon. I know compression sox are supposed to compress and these did. But the 2nd day the real of my thigh was really aching. So I called the doctor and was able to get an appointment. He looked at my thighs and said these were way to tight but I could get away with a knee high for my veins. I showed him the SB Sox (which are thicker and MUCH easier to put on and take off - and were comfortable) and he said to use the knee highs because I'd tend to wear every day if I was comfortable in them.The Truform brand is high quality, it was just the fact that they were tight around my thighs. I WILL say that the top was gripping well enough that there was no way they'd slip down.I'm giving a shout out here to Amazon because these are returnable. and the process was super easy (Dropped off at UPS). With specialized items like this you need to really TRY them for size. So make sure when you buy a "size product" like this that there is a free return option. I don't abuse it but at this price I needed them to fit RIGHT.See photos

I had ACL surgery 3 weeks ago and need to travel for 4 days next week. A short 4 hour flight, but it is still quite close to surgery and my doc was concerned about dvt. On his recommendation i bought compression Thigh highs to wear for 3 days before and 3 days after my 4 day trip The original ted hospital stockings are not going to cut it for work!!These arrived today and my knee was quite swollen and uncomfortable when I put them on to try them out. After reading the directions I worked these over my foot and up my leg. The relief was really marked. These are like wearing one big ace bandage! The support feels fantastic!!! The toe and heel are a more silky fabric to the rest of the stocking. The footbed is nicely formed and it will mean your foot will sit in the stocking nicely. Upon first wearing my foot got quite hot at first as I had to get used to the fabric, but now I am feeling so much better.I would really recommend these to anyone who wants a nice tight feel on their leg after surgery. I am 180lbs and 5 feet 11. The large size is perfect. The rubber band along the top sits firmly, but is not uncomfortable. These would be hot on a warm summer day, but they provide great support and have helped my knee feel better in a couple of hours.I liked these so much I ordered two more pairs as I need to wear for next 10 days. I will update my POV after traveling. One negative ... Quite costly, but this is a small price to pay for protection against dvt and to get some immediate support after surgery.

I purchased the large as indicated by the size chart. They fit fine until I got them all the way up. They were WAY TOO LONG. They came all the way up into my groin. As a result they rolled down and also bunched up behind my knee. I’m returning them and looking for a similarly sized pair that truly comes up to mid-thigh as these were supposed to.

I purchased these for wear after a venous ablation procedure. At first, on days one and two, I'd say they performed as expected. By the third day, they were beginning to lose elasticity and would no longer stay up. Then they started cutting into the skin of one leg at which time they became extremely uncomfortable to wear. I had high hopes for them but would consider alternatives next time.

Very good quality with good price. My father loves wearing it for his pain on the leg, he said it help him a lot.
