Dell Replacement Laptop Battery Inspiron 1420 1400 FT080 WW116 4800mAh

Good enough for the laptop i was buying it for. it was quite outdated by today's standard, so it replaced the battery for sale.This replacement went swimmingly. It arrived in a bubble package, but the battery itself was inside an anti static bag within the bubble bag. Arrived in one peace.The instructions tell you to discharge to 2% then recharge to 100% the first time you use the battery. So i did that before i did any work on the laptop. Afterwards the 100% charge capacity registered 2hr 42mins at average brightness setting. I only had to perform the discharge recharge cycle once for the battery to perform as it should, unlike a battery i bought form Anker that requires you do a more complicated process 2-3 times over.The indicator lights on the battery itself work but the button is hard to press. The entire battery indicator mechanism feels cheap, especially the label covering the assembly.The labels in the back where it would usually state the specs of the battery uses a cheap label, out of the same material as the charge indicator; also has vague info on the battery, cant remember the details as the laptop has a new home (so i cant check) , but it is definitely not the same level of detail as the oem part.The battery did give some trouble locking in the laptop tray the first times of insertion but it alleviated itself after a couple times. one side clip would remain unlocked and i had to manually push it to lock but nothing to serious. The replacement battery has the exact same notches and form as the oem part.All in all a definite worthwhile purchase and i am happy with the experience.

The battery life, when fully charged, is sufficient for approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours, provided one reduces the amount of applications or other device attached, such as laptop cooler through USB connection on the Dell Inspiron 1420. Otherwise, it meets my needs at this time. Appears to be a reliable battery.

I bought this for a old Dell laptop, I think It was a good product, However even after replacement of old battery the laptop didn't hold a change. I eventually gave it away. I only gave 3 stars because I wasn't completely sure if it was the computer of the battery.

It only been a few weeks but the replacement battery for my Dell laptop seems to be working. It was a great price and I needed an operating battery to upgrade my laptop. I am not that concerned about the battery working for a long time. I just need it to hold its charge. I do not believe that Dell carries this battery any longer. But, if Dell did carry the battery, the price would be outrageous for such an old laptop. My laptop is working fine with Windows 10!

Although it took two extra days to arrive it was charged and usable. So far no issue what so ever.

The battery fit my laptop, it works and it was one quarter of the price of the OEM battery at the local big box electronic store. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

The battery works perfectly so far no issues!! Fast shipping and at an amazing price that I couldn't believe for a 10 yr old laptop!! Highly recommend in the future!!

I putting the battery in my computer and now don’t work after that i filled very hot ii take out and my computer doesn’t work.
