nice and sturdy, bright enough
purchased this for $5. worth every penny. not made cheap. i read reviews stating that the switch falls off, didn't have this issue. it was build great. comes with new batteries. I knew the limitation of small leds and didn't expect to light up the road. used it in the attic and is bright enough to see around. great for soldering or working on cars or close proximity. would definitely buy again at $5

So far so good...
Admittedly, I have not used these at work yet - I'll try to update after I have. However, here is my out-of-the-box assessment. The fit will depend on your head, but they seem to be a good design and fit for me. They are very similar to the once-wildly popular "wrap-around sunglasses," so they offer good side protection. The lenses are nice and clear (for my purposes, no tint of any kind would be acceptable) and the only visual distortion I detect is that objects do seem SLIGHTLY closer/larger, but every set of sunglasses I've ever worn have had the exact same effect. It is only noticeable if you tilt your head back and forth, otherwise you would never know. Despite this slight magnification effect, I'm able to compensate without thinking about it, so depth perception does not seem to be an issue so far.The black frames are comparable to thick-framed nerd-style glasses. I would say they still definitely look like safety glasses because of the large lenses, but I've also seen people with regular eyeglasses that were not terribly dissimilar to these. They seem sturdy and the plastic does not feel brittle. The tips near your ears are quite flexible and the rest of the frame has enough "give" to it so that it hopefully won't break with normal use.The lights activate with a triangle-shaped (like an inverted mountain, the peak pointed toward the floor) switch on either side. The switch location is very intuitive (just in front of the sideburns on a man's face) and quite easily to manipulate with your thumb. Forward is on, rearward is off. There is a solid click when you move it either way. You can, of course, activate them independently if you wish. The lights themselves are quite bright, they look like typical 3mm clear/white LEDs. With both lights activated, there is considerable light output. Whether in a moderately-lit room or a dark one, these will shine a lot of light on your subject. This is perfect for me because I often cast my own shadow over my work even with "procedure lighting."Overall, unless I am wrong about the quality, I think I will be pleased with these. The one caveat - I assumed that these would be unpleasant for other people when you are looking at them / talking to them. I was right. People won't want to interact with you in close quarters for the most part since so much light is coming from such a small area. On the other hand, if you want to make it impossible for others to make eye contact with you, these are great. Maybe I'll leave the LEDs on when talking to coworkers I dislike.

Good hands free lightong
Good quality and the lenses are very clear and easy to see through. The switches are well placed and simple to operate. Item came with a very nice draw string bag to protect them when not in use. I use them doing work in confined spaces on my boat and also mechanical work on my truck. The brightness seemed to drop off after the first few brief uses, but has since held at about the same level with about an hour of use. The focus of the lights is a little to each side more than centered in front of my face and sometimes takes a little head turning to put light where I need it. The batteries can be pricey, but are available on Amazon at better prices than at brick and mortar stores. They are comfortable on me and can be habit forming.

Great if you got them on sale!
Got these on a daily special for like $8. They are a steal for that. Very bright and a solid pair of glasses. At $15+ they are still worth it but they need to fulfill a need.

inconvenient
batteries hard to change, came with batteries that are dead :( with free battery replacement but you have to pay for shipping which is $4.95…..almost the amount of a pack of extra batteries which you can purchase here on amazon. Fit is also odd. Overall would not recommend.

50/50
Ok for light mechanic work. Only one side light worked. It will do.

Great for small spaces
I just bought these and used them to change a kitchen faucet. They worked great. These work glasses shone a light wherever I looked. The lights are individually controlled on each side and are bright enough to light up a work area. The only drawback is they are battery operated but they may last a long time since there are two button batteries on each side and no tools ease to get to them. Overall a good buy to protect your eyes and light up in a dark space.
