無事に到着し接続のみで簡単に使うことができました。ただ、Mac専用のわりになんともいえないネイビーで、さらに本体に斜めのラインがあるデザインなので、意外とMac関連で固めているデスクに置くと個人的には浮くなぁという印象でした。ミッドナイトとも絶妙に色が違うので、好みにもよると思いますがfor Macであれば色はブラックとかマット系のシルバーとかにして、デザインもシンプルにして、もう少しMacに寄せてもいいのかな？と思いました。

USBに繋いでタイムマシンを開き、即バックアップを、と思ったら認識せず。 説明書にそれらしき記載も無く、ネット検索するも適切なアドバイスも見当たらず。 諦めてしばらく放置、再起動かけたかは記憶が定かではありませんが、数時間後にふと気づくと認識されて 無事バックアップも取れました。 その後は問題なく稼働しています。

1年も経たずに前触れも無く突然死しました。自分の中ではWDは2度と買わないメーカーになった。ふざけるな。

Die WD My Passport for Mac (2 TB) ist für mich der ideale mobile Speicher am Mac. Sie ist gut verarbeitet, kommt ohne Netzteil aus und wird bei mir zuverlässig erkannt – anstecken und loslegen. Für eine HDD ist sie ausreichend schnell (Backups, Dateien, Fotos etc. absolut okay) und insgesamt stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für mich richtig gut. Fazit: Solide, unkomplizierte Mac-Festplatte mit fairer Performance – klare Empfehlung.

This hard drive is easy to use with no programming necessary for my Mac. Just connect it to the computer and let it do its job. Nice that it has the usb C adapter as well, it is very compact too.

It wasn't working 1st one. Keep disconnecting and very slow to transfer files. Returned and received replacement in 4 days. It is very fast and stable. Very good product. I recommend it.
