If I could give more stars I would. And I confess that I sure didn’t feel that way when I first opened the pack. I purchased this because my dentist office had given me a sample the last couple of visits. I liked the sample, and I started a six-month experiment to see if I could get my gum measurements up with serious daily flossing. It worked! Here’s the shocker: the little plastic dispenser from the dentist sample is nothing like how these are packaged. It was so confusing when I opened my first pack, that I yelled around a bit until I saw the genius of the dispensers. They’re paper! No flipping plastic. And it totally works. There is a little metal cutting tab, but the rest is heavy paper. You start the floss through the dispenser, and its a snap. This floss is remarkable. If you’ve never had a sample from the dentist, I’ll tell you about it. It is more of a tape than a floss, so it slides easily into problem areas. I have some teeth that are too tight together that tend to shred floss and leave a wad that ends up having to be picked out. I also have a couple of huge gaps that store food that’s difficult to get out. And painful. This floss slides right between tight teeth, and also between food and teeth. Love this stuff!

Fantastic for anyone like me who does not like plastic/synthetic floss that bites into your gums. This floss is a bit thicker, which is not an issue because it it made of natural fibers and moves between my teeth smoothly and gently

i have been using this floss for years. I love that it is strong and NOT slick. I feel like it does a better job pulling out food caught under my bridge and getting between the teeth that bushes can't reach than other brands of floss because it isn't "easy glide". BONUS!!! they have redesigned the dispenser to being more environmentally friendly. It is no longer made of plastic. Rather a folded light cardboard.

I love this floss. It's not coated in wax or other weird materials. The threads kind of splay open once you've got it between your teeth so it does a much more thorough job of sweeping the junk out of there. I like that the package is nearly all recyclable. When it's done, there's just the tiny wheel, its plastic bag, and the metal tooth to throw in the trash. Everything else can be recycled. The only downside is I had a filling where the dentist didn't file the edge of the filling quite smooth enough, so this floss caught on that tiny rough spot where other floss might not. But then I was able to go back to the dentist and say, there's a rough spot here, would you smooth that out. One hygienist told me she has veneers and said she can't use this floss because it snags on them all the time. The flavor is so faint, most of the time I don't notice it. I kind of wish it were a little stronger.

Who bothers to leave a review for floss, right? It's a pretty basic item at core, but it does its job really well. I have some very tight spaces between my teeth, and I used to hate flossing because the floss would break or shred. The satin floss types, more expensive, usually wouldn't shred but would break, requiring me to use more of them. The regular types would often shred between my teeth, frustratingly getting stuck there and forcing me to floss again to get out the floss that's stuck between my teeth. This floss has solved my problem. It's sturdier than other flosses, and can even withstand my problematic teeth. I won't lie, it will sometimes start to fray a LITTLE in my worst spots, but it never breaks outright, and because it won't happen on a single tooth, I can just shift and use a different spot for the next one when it happens. So much better, and I never have to floss the floss out any more. The only downside, really, is the price, but it's better if you get a few at a time. Oh, and the cardamom flavor is so mild they might as well not flavor it at all.
