The LEGO Book, New Edition: with exclusive LEGO brick

The breadth of LEGO
LEGO is fun play bricks for children and adults. This book will expand the readers’ understanding of how broad the LEGO brand can go. The book includes the children section and then the surprising popular adult LEGO section. It was surprising to me. Included in this book is the fascinating LEGO history and display of the LEGO parks and other architecture. Years ago as a mother of small children, I was always concerned that some little one in my family would swallow a LEGO instead if building something. Now that I have read this book, I am hoping they will guide their children to LEGO and revisit the fun they had when they were young.

All things lego
Got this book for our 7yo Lego enthusiast. It has been a hit. He especially likes looking through all the old retired sets.

History Book
This is a good reference for those who want to know more about the history of Legos. It is not so much a “how-to”. Still well written and nicely illustrated/photographed.

The best LEGO book I have seen to date.
My fiancé bought this book for her son. I looked through it since I played LEGOs as a kid myself. I love this book. My older brother is a big LEGO fan and has been building them from a child to an adult. I bought this book for him. He actually loved it!!!

Nice addition to the first edition.
I bought the first edition of this book and I was suspect about this new version. I was pleasantly surprised. Although some content is lost to add newer information it makes a good combination to have both. I am happy with it as a fan of LEGO’s and it story

Great book, weird design
So it’s a great book, and on sale it’s a good price, but the front cover is about 3/4 of an inch thick, all because they included one exclusive lego brick that they put into the cover… it makes the book bigger than it needs to be.

Great addition to Lego book collection
I got this as a gift for my AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) and he really likes it. He would love to have every LEGO book ever made and this has made a great addition to the collection. It's more geared to the adult reader rather than kids, it's a timeline of the history of LEGO. It does have some really neat pictures too!
