Is it hard enough to use as a writing surface?

Hello,my friend:The wolaile desk pad has comfortable feel and it has a thickness of nearly 2mm.It looks like real leather.I think it's hard enough to use as a writing surface.And I have always use it on my desktop.Thank you

I am buying this for use on an oval tabletop. Can the edges be cut to fit the contour of my table?

The edges are beautifully stitched, but it don't see why you couldn't cut to fit if you needed to do so. I love mine. The light pink is very easy on my eyes if I'm at the computer for very long and it's so large, I have room for a big desk calendar at the top left and all the rest of the space for my password book at the top right and plenty of workspace left over. One of the best buys I've ever made on Amazon! I highly recommend it!
