Macho beast
Just bought my second one. I could not get the included metal cable to thread through the eyelet on my GPS. I called the company for a solution and they have a Kevlar cord that works just fine. The cost to me...nothing. They gave it to me. How's that for customer care!!! This thing is brutally strong. My GPS lists for $450 and I don't want to lose it. Towards that end, this is by far the best solution. It's a macho beast.

Love this thing!
I recently used this on a trip to Europe to hold my Sony NEX-7 ready at hand on my backpack strap. So easy to grab and pull up to my face for a quick shot! It held the camera with lens just fine. This thing rocks and is built like a tank.

Worked pretty well!
So used this on my most recent vacation. On my $1000 point and shoot. So it worked great being pulled in and out over the week around 1300x without any wear on the line.I did have issue with the small wire pulling out twice , somehow it got itself free of the clip. (Minus 1 Star). It should not just come off without the clip being unclipped which it was not.

Friction makes heat. And plastic melts
I ordered 4 of these total. 3 of them are still working superbly. 1 failed while tether to my hammer. Arguably my most used tool, pulling it out and putting it back took it's toll, as well as every swing. The friction wore a little valley around where the string comes out and it ended up cutting the tether. Still worth it though.

Strands that fray are very sharp!
I have only had this for 2 months but have been using it for just a little over a month. It is really strong but the wire that connects to your keys or what ever you use it on is quite susceptible to fraying and once it does renders the device useless. The strands that hang off if it are very sharp and pointy and can cut, I found this out the hard way. Maybe they should cover this braided wire with plastic of some sort to prevent this, or provide extras just in case this happens. I will update this when the company gets back to me to see what there remedy is.

Not worth money.
I work I law enforcement and I picked this little guy up for my squad keys. Out of the box it's large and kind of bulky. This is what I expected when I ordered it something that was big and was going to last. When it worked it did a good job. Had a bad squek I wasn't a big fan off when it was pulled out. Unfortunatelyy after about two weeks it became jammed and wouldn't retract or pull. I looked like the hole for the string is made of plastic and after repeated use the string cut into the plastic and came off it's "track".

Works for walkie-talkies and two-way radios
This is the best clip. I used it to attach my walkie talkie to my belt loop. Makes it easily assable and love the retracting ability. Just what I was looking for since my original walkie clip broke and the replacements don't stay on. Thai clip has been a life saver.

The 8oz version can't retract 8oz as advertized.
I weighed my fishing net at about 7oz and the 8oz unit doesn't retract it.
