Scotch Book Repair Tape - Acid Free - 1 Roll - 76.2 mm x 13.7 m

Strong clear tape that is sufficiently sticky to hold but is easy to handle. I needed it for the spine of my favourite cook book and it has repaired it very well.

This is the tape most generally used in libraries and archives to repair damaged books. It doesn't discolour or go brittle as Sellotape does, and is completely transparent, so doesn't disguise lettering or images on the boards. I've been using it for many years.

Did what we needed and now the books look great

This really works. I have revived a couple of seriously foxed elderly volumes with it, and they look really good: and can be read now without falling apart! Strongly recommend!

It is acid free. It works well to stick the pages in a book. Stronger than Sellotape and does not yellow. Did the job for me and still plenty left..

If you want to repair a book/books, this is the stuff to use. It's wide, thicker than 'ordinary' tape, strong and flexible (and, apparently, acid-free). I've repaired several books with it (cloth-bound and paper-back), and it looks as though it will last a lifetime.

Only found out about this product on Google, needed some good quality tape for my collection of Film Posters, using normal tape turns brown and Posters can be very expensive. Would not be without it now. Get this item if you value your items that need repairing.

The adhesion is strong and the tape itself is clear and strong without being bulky. I have used this product for years for books and preserving documents that needed protection but could not be otherwise sealed.I have used to protect labels on products that were going to be in storage for periods of time.Note the tape should not be expected to last for long, days and days, of direct sunlight. It is not UV protected,

Ich nutze das Klebeband, um die unvermeidbaren Schäden an den Kinderbüchern zu beheben und die Bücher weiterhin nutzbar zu machen. Aber auch das ein oder andere Taschbuch von mir wurde wieder repariert und aufgewertet. Das Klebeband lässt sich gut aufbringen und ist hoch transparent, aufgeklebt fast unsichtbar. Im Gegensatz zu normalen Klebefilm bricht es auch nicht (bis jetzt) wenn es hin- und her gebogen wird. Ich bin bislang sehr zufrieden.
