Great for a Quick Microwaved Egg
These are great for microwaving eggs in a mattet of minutes, but never microwave on your microwave's normal setting. Reduce the power, find the right length of time, and you're good to go. I don't use oil, which causes a slight "crust" on the top of the egg where it meets the silicone, but it isn't any different from pan frying and getting a crunchy edgeIt WILL take a few tries to find the right power level and length of time to cook eggs perfectly, but it's well worth the dozen tries to find the sweet spot. Too high, and it'll explode, too low, and it'll be uncooked in places. Eventually, you'll find where it can fully cook an egg, or make the yolk creamy and delicious

I Need More
These are a fabulous find. Super easy to use. Easy to clean. One reviewer mentioned they needed holes added to the base. Looks like company listened, mine arrived with holes already punched out. They make the perfect boiled six minute egg. There is a note in questions about them not providing the right consistency for egg salad. I disagree. I’ve found I need to mix yolks with mayo first, then cut up whites, other than that they are fine. The little handles are great for handling when hot and for lowering into water, and the lids come in handy for the microwave. WARNING: Like any other container when microwaving eggs, you need to pierce the yolk all the way through to keep them from exploding when in microwave. Super happy with them. Will be buying more.

Egg cup
Overall we like these- the handle is a nice touch. The only downside is when you use them in pop with water the eggs take a long time to cook. In the microwave is approximately30-40 seconds for a soft boiled/poached egg

Cute as a gift to myself and as hostess gift.
This cute gadgets are great! I love eggs, and poaching them has always been a challenge to me. Not anymore. It arrived fast- thanks Amazon even on Coronavirus time- The how-to is simple, and easy. You can actually use it in the microwave with the little lids provided- only use the lids when using the microwave. The baskets did not “swim”around the pot. It has the little holes on the bottom to prevent it. I washed with soap after it arrived and let it sit in a mixture of vinegar for a feel minutes. Washed it and let it air dry. I cooked my egg for 8 minutes, and it was perfect. Solid whites, but not dry and running yoke. No fuss, efficient, great value for the money. The only one thing I would suggest is offering them in one color set, and maybe a plain white. I like colors in our bohemian house, but some people like to be color coordinated. The colors on this babies are not bright though, and easy on the eyes.

Easy to clean, hard to cook with
This was a gift and my boyfriend hated them, he followed all the directions, he used a pot, not a pan, he didn’t leave a lot of empty space between the cups. There was a lot of egg white floating in the water at the end of it all. I’m not sure I want to try the suggestions of poking holes into the little stands, but I want so badly for them to work, I will probably try something like that. I have seen versions of these which say they roll with the boiling water, I’m not going to take more chances, I guess it’s back to poaching eggs the old-fashioned way, and modifying these, somehow.

So easy to use!
I've been looking online for tips on how to make poached eggs, looking at different products to buy, reading a lot of reviews and was so thrilled to finally come across these! They arrived quickly and was packed perfectly. For the price you get four poachers and fork - can't beat that to similar products on the market! It's super easy to use. I filled a pot with water (enough to touch the base of the SKOO) put all 4 SKOOs in, sprayed lightly with cooking spray, then put the eggs in, and cooked slowly on medium heat. Make sure you use a pot that isn't too large. If the SKOO's fit snug and do not move around you will NOT have to punch holes at the bottom like other reviewers have mentioned. You MUST use a lid. If your lid is too big just put a towel on top to give it some weight so it can seal in the steam. DO NOT expect your first batch to come out perfectly. This is something that requires a few test runs to see how long it will take to cook to your liking. If you want the eggs more cooked than cook longer but do not say it doesn't work because it didn't come out perfectly your first run. With all products you must figure out how to use it and then master it to your specification. Highly recommend this product. You will not regret.

Best invention of the humanity!
What can I say, my dream just came true and I finally can cook poached eggs for breakfast without throwing 2 dozens of eggs to the garbage:)) I just remember those days when I tried to figure out the secret of cooking poached eggs, and it was a very frustrating time of my life! I watched tons of videos on YouTube, followed the recommendations and always failed! They say the main secret is to use the freshest eggs just from the farm, but how can I guarantee that my nearest grocery store has them? I mean, the eggs are fresh to some certain grade, but no one knows exactly how fresh they are... I stopped trying cooking poached eggs for a big while and when I heared that there is now an egg poacher.. I ran to see the options and chose this one. It is so logical that this exact model has those tiny handles which make the process of cooking so safe and predictable, I know for sure the poacher won’t slip out of my hands. I truly don’t understand why other models have those holes on the sides and what is their practical use, it definitely seems like handles are missing. The hook is a nice addition for taking them out of boiling water, which might probably be very helpful for those who have sensitive skin and can’t stand the steam heat, but what I usually do is I turn off the stove and just pull the poachers by the handle with my bare hands. The eggs come out just perfect, I am and I will be experimenting as much as I can adding spices and other ingredients to them. It’s just amazing how easy it is to cook the poached eggs now! The poachers are really easy to clean and the silicone they are made of is of pretty good quality. I definitely recommend this product to everyone who loves cooking and loves gadgets for making things easier.

Danger in microwave
Do not use in microwave unless you pierce the yolk which isn’t in the instructions, even with lids the eggs exploded (very messy) stick to saucepan and these are excellent

Finally, a solution for microwave poached eggs
I know most people who buy this would be using it in boiling water, but I was specifically trying to find a solution to my problem of poaching eggs in the microwave. I was tired of using coffee mugs, which made the eggs difficult to extract, and then there was the problem of covering the mug. This set solved both problems for me, and I now have lovely poached eggs anytime I want in a fraction of the time, and fewer things to wash than the boiling in pan method!FYI I put a little water (and sometimes a splash of vinegar) into the poaching cup, crack an egg into it, put the lid on and microwave for 35 seconds (trust me, had to clean up many explosions before I found the timing that worked for my microwave, so don’t give up!). I don’t skewer the yolk as many others do, as that results in a firm yolk while I enjoy them runny.
