Would recommend if you have the money for it
Great SSD, very fast speeds and reliable

Good SSD at a sensible price
Stays nice and cool with my mobo's built in heatsink. Good size fast SSD for my new Win11 machine, no more whirring clicking HDDs for me, I also bought a WD Black gen 4 M.2 as my D: drive for data. With PWM Noctua case fans and a peerless assassin CPU cooler and a Corsair super-quiet PSU I have a completely silent system :o)

Great Drive but expensive
Great drive, very fast, tested with CrystalDiskMark. plenty of storage. The only downside is the cost.

Great item, works well and improved gaming quality

Fast but pricey
Pretty much as quick as advertised. Be advised that I had to upgrade the firmware using the SanDisk dashboard before I could get the full write speed.

Quality, great performance and great temps
I was a little worried about getting a PCIe gen 5 x4, because of the lack of the advertised speed for read and write i.e. 14k, the high heat temps and the high cost. But after some research, I found out I should not worry too much as long as you choose the right Gen5 SSD and preferably with a Silicon Motion SM2508 controller. After my research I decided my best chose is a WD Black SN8100 2TB non heat-sink because I was going to use my motherboard heat-sink which was provided. But I would NOT recommend running any gen5 ssd without a heat-sink unless you are wanting thermal throttling when it reached 85°C+ As you can see on the image with crystaldiskmark and the downloadable WD app the 14k read and write is achievable and the temps are fantastic with idle temps of 35°C to a max of 48°C whilst running crystaldiskmark. To concluded this is my own personal opinion, if you are ready to jump to the next generation gen 5 SSD I would highly recommend you look at a SN8100 purely for the temps and advertise speed, and because the temps are so low the longevity and durability of the drive will hopefully mitigate the higher cost of the next generation drives. but please do you own research.

FAST!
Manged to bag this litteraly days before massive price hikes! so I was happy with the purchase Getting excellent speeds on my laptop with benchmarks showing well over 14K MB/s read and arond 13MB/s writes (which is faster than the actual specs on the dive) Not to sure if the value today is worth it, but there is noting much you can do about that as the prices are going to get higher over the next year or two thanks to the stupid demand in AI .. hoping that bubble will burst !. Would recommend getting this ssd...
