We have ridiculously hard water here and despite our water softener, the inside of our new dishwasher was covered in buildup that looked like chalk. I tried multiple rounds of vinegar and baking soda an about 75% still remained. In searching for some kind of solution, Lemi Shine came up. The very first time I used it, it cleaned nearly all of the buildup! I've been using it regularly ever since. Really great, effective product. Does what they claim.

I add this to my dishwasher pods and it is amazing how it removes water spots. We have very hard well water and this does a great job, better than other similar products. I highly recommend. Keeps the dishwasher clean as well

there's no two ways about it: if you use this with dish detergent, your dishes will be spotless. I use the really expensive pods, but I don't think you have to as long as it's good enough to get your dishes clean this will keep them spotless. I used to use rinse liquid or whatever is called but with this product I don't think you have to use it. I think this is a good enough job without it or at least I know I haven't refilled mine in two years.

This worked well cleaning several years of hard water buildup inside the dishwasher. It keeps dishes and glassware from collecting hard water residue and seems to be slowly removing haze from glasses that previously had been washed without Lemi Shine.

This stuff works great for a multitude of uses. it is marketed for dishes, so let me talk about that first. My husband is the one who does the dishes in our house. He usually uses dawn dish soap however we recently switched to a more eco-friendly plastic free dish soap option. It is a powder that you mix with water to create the dish soap. It is not Sudsy, but it works pretty well. My husband added a little bit of this dish detergent booster to the dish soap bottle and is currently washing dishes with it. I decided to write this review because of what I am hearing lol. He is saying things like, “Wow! Holey crap! Normally this pan would have to soak for so long and then I would have to scrub the shit out of it, but I just dipped it in the water and ran the sponge over it lightly and all the stuff came off.” he also was quite amused when he ran his finger across a plate and it made a squeaking noise he said “wow it’s never made that sound before.” he also said “ I can’t believe I am going to say this… But… It is better than Don.” now for its other awesome uses… I put a little bit in a bowl of water and stuck it in the microwave. Ran the microwave so it created steam. To be fair this is how I generally clean the microwave and the steam always helps so I don’t have to do much scrubbing, with this, I didn’t have to do any scrubbing just wiped everything down good as new. I sprinkled a small amount in my bathroom sink which I had filled with water. I took a cloth and wipe down mirror and counter and back of faucet. Well, the whole faucet, but the back where sometimes build up happens was extra clean. I should mention I dipped the cloth into the water in the sink before wiping these surfaces down. They looked fantastic and after draining the sink, it looks the cleanest it has ever looked. And my absolute favorite use for this product… I sprinkled a little on the crusty parts of round my burner on my gas stove. Then spray it down with my all purpose cleaner which to be fair is mostly orange oil so that could also affect things. I let it sit for a while, then scrub it off. It actually comes off, which is something I have never experienced before. No matter how often I clean under my burners it still looks gross and crusty not anymore. I love this stuff. And it does all of these awesome things without chemicals. It is going to be a staple in my house from now on.

This is great for hard water. Keeps my dishes from accumulating deposits. And has actually cleaned off the element on the bottom of the dishwasher. Wish I had before and after pics. Well worth it.
