⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rock-Solid AM5 Motherboard That Feels Built to Last
This motherboard has been an absolute workhorse in my first PC build. The ASUS TUF B650-PLUS WiFi strikes a near-perfect balance between performance, reliability, and thoughtful design. From the moment I installed it, everything just made sense—clear layout, excellent spacing, and zero guesswork during the build process. Build quality is immediately noticeable. The board feels sturdy and well-reinforced, with solid heatsinks, clean PCB layout, and a premium, no-nonsense look that pairs perfectly with modern builds. It doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks—just smart engineering and durability, which is exactly what I wanted. The layout is especially builder-friendly. There’s plenty of clearance around the CPU socket for large air coolers, clean routing for power and front-panel cables, and well-placed headers that make cable management straightforward. Even with a full-size GPU installed, everything remains accessible and clean. Performance has been excellent. Stability has been flawless, memory setup was painless, and BIOS navigation is intuitive—great for both first-time builders and experienced users. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth worked right out of the box, and connectivity overall is more than enough for gaming, productivity, and future upgrades. I’ve been running this board since August 2025, and it’s been completely reliable—no crashes, no weird quirks, and no regrets. It feels like a motherboard you install once and trust for years. Excellent board, fair price.
Absolutely solid motherboard. It came with Bios that registered and worked with the AMD AM5 9800x3d, and since then has had four BIOS updates. I engaged with two with little issue and everything has been working perfectly, so I've been hesitant to grab the others. The bios has a solid suite of features. Good fan controls, and plenty of OC/UC options. I configured it for EXPO with my RAM and it's been stable since then with no extra tweaking. Usually I skimped on motherboards, essentially the cheapest part of my rig. I spent a little more on this and I think it was worth it in the long run.

Good price. A bit dated, but wonderful firmware and good features. Lots of control.
There are newer chipsets and I largely went with this because of the price to get to the AM5/DDR5 platform without having to sell a kidney. The firmware was pre-flashed with a version that already supported Zen 5 already, so I didn't have to try to figure out how the headless flash function works. There was still a newer firmware version out there, so I still recommend updating, but you should be able to do so as normal through the menus. There is a lot to be said about ASUS one way or the other, but the motherboard firmwares are pretty good with excellent options. There are bonus extras that many others forget like the uncore/memory "OC mode" which doesn't actually overclock (they should probably change that name) but can help with performance. There are lots of other little things here and there, some of which I haven't seen in a few of the other firmwares right now. Nothing major, but altogether you have a lot of control over your system configuration. This doesn't only allow for good overclocking, but just better control altogether (for example, even lowering clocks is easy to do if you want a system to run cooler and quieter.) It even can override CPU speed to a fixed speed if one was so inclined (you have to be _very_ careful with this, but it can yield good results if the cooling can handle it.) The WiFi and Bluetooth functions were a nice little bonus. In Linux they just worked right out of the box for me, so big plus there. (I half expected that they wouldn't work and I'm sure ASUS wasn't thinking of Linux users, but I'm really glad that it does work. Nice bonus feature.) I didn't even know about the Bluetooth until I saw it show up in Linux, but that's a very useful feature to have built in to the motherboard. It also has three M.2 slots, though I'm a bit confused about the PCI-E/M2 configuration in this system. I originally read this as a PCI-Express 5.0 system, but it may only be the first M.2 slot? Very confusing. If it's PCI-E 4.0 only on the PCI-E slot perhaps that will limit later GPU options, but today even if a PCI-E 5.0 card comes out I seriously doubt it could utilize the capabilities of 5.0. All in all a really good bang for the buck if you're looking for something that isn't the absolute top of the line but has plenty of features. The fact that it just works right out of the box with Linux also is an excellent plus.

The best motherboard for its price
It’s a really good motherboard for Ryzen 7000 series processors, with good performance, solid protections, and built with quality materials. It also includes native wireless connectivity.

Loving This Motherboard! My Experience!
Update 12/18/2025 Stay away from all Asus motherboards related to TUF... why? These MOB are buggy as hell and their don't care at all on fixing the bugs. So i'm stuck with a MOB that won't work perfectly like it meant too. I'm hoping to switch to MSI once save up. What bugs these MOB have on Asus tuf? Lots random disconnection USB or Network and Blue screens of death for no reason. Sable BIOS almost is 3208 but it does disconnect on USB and Network and BSOD a few times or so. Update 1/14/2025 WARNING TO ALL USERS HERE! I had built a awesome custom gaming pc desktop I wanted for so long and it work fine for weeks until the latest BIOS Asus release TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI BIOS 3057 which caused my pc to start acting up weird daily to weekly until the point it's a nightmare to turn on my pc now. If you wish to hear more check my reddit post "TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI BIOS 3057" & "TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI & BIOS 3067" about it. ASUS are releasing bad BIOS that kill/damage their MB from working right and also don't use BIOS Flashback button either a youtube by the name jay2cents had lost 3 MB from using it. I used it once but everything work fine until i used the built-in BIOS within the settings that causing my MB ran crazy. I need to RMA it soon once i get a replacement MB not from asus. I love to share more but stay away from ASUS Motherboards. Honestly any reviews on this motherboard about booting up is the end user who didn’t listen well about building first time pc hardware together. My first time putting together this hardware was fun and scary experience for me. Motherboard didn’t boot up fully; I freaked out and said i got a defect motherboard. I was so wrong and stupid, the likely causes are either motherboard, cpu, or ram sticks. Bios on the motherboard was out of date and root caused on why the yellow dram light turning on and main issues on booting up. I had to redo all the Fan pins connecting again so it’s in order starting with main case fans and water cooler pump/fans. RPG on the water cooler fans were cool but not a main thing for me as long as it cools the cpu heat greatly which does i believe. I can’t say for 100% sure since I haven’t had a desktop PC in years especially one that is gaming desktop pc over normal desktop computers are. I picked an AMD CPU Ryzen 5 7600X since its friendly budget cpu and handles all my gaming needs greatly. It can handle 5200mhz speeds from ram good. The system rams are Corsair Vengeance DDR5 clock at 5200mhz speeds, two sticks of 8gb for total of 16GB in duel memory channel mode. Plan to upgrade it to 32gb later on. Cpu cooler is water cooler by Corsair H100xRGP elite liquid cooler. Finally main boot drive is crucially p3 plus 1TB gen 4 which has incredible read and write rate speeds that the motherboard handles like a pro. Motherboard has many USB ports for connecting USB of different speeds like USB 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and USB type C as well two of then for 10 or 20 speeds. I would had love if it supported USB 3.0 speeds or higher since they are already backwards compatible towards older usb speeds. Anyway we have 4 x usb 2.0 ports, two usb 3.0 ports, and finally two usb c ports for connecting with. One Ethernet connection port that gives 2.5 gigabytes speeds for online experience. The system is fully stable on running all the hardware perfectly. I plan to upload a video review so keep eye out for other parts mentioned here.

Awesome Gaming Motherboard at a Great Price!
This is an excellent motherboard with all the features needed to build a powerful gaming PC. - It has Wifi 6E, which may not be the latest, but it is fast enough to take advantage of my router fully -It has 3 NVME slots that my GPU does not block, and it includes heatsinks for all the NVME slots -I am not a fan of RGB, and the motherboard allows me to turn it off -The GPU slot design makes it easy to install the GPU properly and easily remove it if needed. No more squeezing your finger behind the GPU to find the clip -Fully takes advantage of my AMD Ryzen 9700 X3D processor without any BIOS update. The only reason I gave this a 4-star instead of 5 is that, during Windows 11 installation, WiFi is not found. Either have to be connected through LAN, or go to the ASUS webpage and download the WiFi driver on a separate USB drive, which can only be installed using the command prompt. I have built multiple gaming PC, and this was the first time I had to deal with this issue.

Great motherboard with tons of features, very reliable
Excellent mainboard so far, I am using it with an AMD Ryzen 9600X with no issues. The RAM runs at 7000 megatransfers and is very, very stable. No problems at all. I love the variety of ports (USB etc) and install was easy. Wifi works great. No issues at all. I use it for a light gaming and general use machine and it works very well. The audio output is fine with some decent speakers and headphones. No cooling issues with the power conversion, or anything.

Stable board with easy setup
Dropped this into a new build and everything posted first try. BIOS updates were quick, WiFi signal is strong, and plenty of headers for upgrades. Tip: Update BIOS before installing Windows — avoids random compatibility headaches with newer CPUs.
