good shorts - run large, so buy a size or two down. also, you will need to wash them a few times to get rid of the chemical smell - they are not made of nylon, but are "polyamide" and whatever fabric that is, it's kind of smelly. But they work great as shorts or as swim shorts for the beach and they dry quickly.

I was uncertain about the length. I ordered the 9” but think the 7” would have been better. I am 5’1” and the 9” was a little long. But they are comfortable and the color goes nicely with a couple of tops I have. So I am keeping them.

I bought these because they are advertised as swim shorts. However, the material is not what I want for a swim short/board short. They do have a liner, and the material might not bother someone else, but I prefer quick-dry nylon for swim shorts. This is not that. However, I love the fit, and they are super comfortable. I wear them for outdoor activities and I would probably wear them on the water if I wasn't necessarily going to swim (boating, jet ski, kayak...). I will probably buy another pair because they are great all-around active wear.

These are amazing!!! Amazing from the tummy control waist, length (9 inch) The bottoms also have some looseness around the bottom thigh area. I’m 240 lbs, 5’5 and most of my weight is in my stomach which is quite large and I have bigger thighs but not huge. I’m sticking with the size xxl. Black is always slimming and these make me look 20 lbs thinner, no kidding it’s due to the way the trunks are cut/shaped.i always buy swim bottom a little tighter because when they get wet and heavy they tend to slide off a little. The material is so uncomfortable and I would say the material is a medium weight which I also love. love , love, love these!! This is a real review.

These fit so good. Long enough to hide my flabby thighs. I ordered two more pair. Very flattering on my body.

These shorts did not work for me and I am returning them. The size was correct according to the chart, not too loose or too tight, but the material was thinner and did not hold the fit shape as I had expected. I thought they would have a more flattering fit across the front for those post-baby bellies or if you've lost weight and don't have a tight tummy. They is thin in the tummy area under the yoke, causing an unflattering belly bulge, unsightly revealing outline of the crotch area and draw creases in the groin. Just not the right fit for my body type. They have accepted a return for reimbursement without any problems.I'm sure these are just fine on thinner people or a different body shape, just not what I expected.

Took these to Cancun. I usually struggle with chaffing if I wear a normal swimsuit bottom… these shorts were amazing and I’m going to buy more! They kept me from chaffing and dried fairly quickly.
