Good Japanese rice! Shining sticky rice with the creamy rice aftertaste..

This rice is really high-quality. It's very hard for me to get quality Japanese rice where I live and this served us great used to all summer. Also would say that it pairs really well in terms of hydration in accordance with my rice cookers measurement guide (Zojirushi)

Real traditional Japanese short-grain rice. So different from US short-grain rice. Absolutely delicious.

Great product . We love the rice. It is consistently made. The taste is great and we eat it at almost every meal. It is very sticky but not so sticky that it makes a great side dish. It is truly from Japan . This is our second time purchasing it and will keep doing so.

I grew up in Japan and have tried many "Japanese-style" rice brands in the US, but this Hitomebore from Miyagi is on a different level. The texture is perfect—slightly sweet and just the right amount of stickiness. It even tastes amazing when cold, which is the ultimate test for good rice (perfect for onigiri/rice balls!). It honestly makes me feel like I’m back home. It's a bit pricier than some other brands, but for this quality, it’s absolutely worth it. If you want authentic Japanese rice, this is the one.
