No, stacking them together would put it at 20 to the 3rd power which would be 8000 lbs, which is substantially stronger than just one shelf. Give it a try.

I can’t take the rail out of shelves? How am I supposed to screw on wall if they don’t come out?

The answer from "Kindle Customer" about attaching the rail to the wall first is.. confusing. The black rail is meant to be pulled from the shelf first, then mounted to the wall. Once the rail is mounted, the shelf is meant to slide onto the posts. With that said, I had to give the rail a good yank to get it to pull free from the shelf before I could mount it to the wall.
