Forte Series Boar Bristle Round Hair Brush, Adds Volume and Shape

I have medium thick, long hair that goes down just below on my shoulders.This brush is too small to do my whole head, but I consistently find myself reaching for this brush. Once my hair is already dry and I’m looking for something to smooth and gloss and flip out the ends.Enter this little Forte brush, lightweight with an ergonomic handle, it’s easy to use and maneuver. The bristles are designed in such a way that easily pick up hairs, and the boars hair leaves my hair, shiny and glossy.Something about this brush really holds a flip as well. Because I only use it on the ends and for finishing, I don’t know how effective it is when it comes to detangling hair. I do find it’s a light weight brush so I would probably start off detangling with a wide tooth comb, then move to a larger barrel brush as I dry my hair and then finish off with this one.However, once my hair is finished and smooth, I find it’s very silky and not prone to getting tangled or knotted after using this brush.

I’ve used a few round brushes before, but this one from Forte Series stands out, both in feel and performance. The bristles are firm but not scratchy, and they grab the hair just right for tension during a blowout without pulling or tangling. I mainly use it to add volume at the roots and smooth out my ends, and it gives me that soft, bouncy shape that looks like I spent way more time styling than I actually did. The size is also perfect because its not too bulky, but large enough to give movement to longer layers. The handle feels solid and easy to grip, which matters when you’re rotating it through sections of hair. I also noticed less frizz and more shine after using it consistently, probably thanks to the boar bristles distributing natural oils. It's easy to clean which is a plus too.

If you’re after a polished, voluminous blowout without frizz, and want a tool that looks and feels premium, this brush is a worthy addition. For those with fine hair or specific curl styles like me, you might need to adjust your technique or pair it with other sizes to get your desired style. Beautiful results either way!The natural boar bristles are gentle yet effective and they glide effortlessly through my hair, distributing oils evenly and leaving my ends looking smooth and polished without getting tangled in my fine, wavy hair. The size of the handle is perfect for me and I like the smaller barrel for my hair because I don’t have a lot of it! This brush makes drying time seem less than when I’ve used some other cheaper brushes also. Overall this brush feels well made and delivers salon quality results at home.

This brush feels high quality and just like the ones in professional salons. I like the size of the handle, which is very easy to hold and maneuver around. It also makes styling my hair a breeze. I have long straight hair, and this brush effectively gets my tangles out without pain. Would recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I use a round brush on my hair every day and have for over 20 years. I have quite a selection and this is just another one to add to the collection.This is by far the fanciest packaging any of my round brushes have come in. Very nice presentation. It functions as it should. Leaves my hair nice and silky while also adding volume. It's on the smaller end of the size spectrum so I use it on the crown of my head where my shorter hair is. It's perfect for short hair.I will add that I think the price point is bit excessive. These brushes typicslly range from $4-15 so this is well above the average price point. You can get the same results with a $4 round brush if you know how to style your hair.I am rating this 5 stars for the function but I think it's too expensive.
