Fast and as promised

Bit expensive but worth it. It’s sturdy and good read and write speeds.

This drive is certainly bigger and heavier than most drives. That being said, it is exceptionally fast and capacious. I get speeds of over 800 megabytes (not megabits!) per second. It works well on mac and PC and feels high quality. It does heat up, but doesn't seem to overheat. One downside is that only the USB C or the USB A ports are covered, but not both. I do recommend this drive, it's built well, fast, and large. I would recommend splurging on the higher capacity models as I feel like that makes more sense for a drive like this, but it depends on what you need from it. I would recommend waiting for a sale of at least below $160 which seems to happen frequently for this drive.

This item is only compatibel with Windows 10 and 11. It will not work with Windows 7. I don't know about Mac OS.
