This Prestone product is indeed for your windscreen-washer bottle and you should add it NEAT to the washer bottle. If there's no water in the bottle, you'll get protection down to minus 10 degrees C; if there's some water there, you'll dilute the Prestone and protection will not be as good. The Prestone formulation comes out very well in independent car-magazine tests, so it's a good product and, importantly, it doesn't smell like cheap perfume inside the car when you're using the windscreen washer on a journey (others do!). DO NOT CONFUSE Winter SCREEN Wash with Prestone's Antifreeze Product which is meant to be added to your car's radiator to prevent your circulating engine-coolant water from freezing and cracking your engine. As always in life, 'READ THE LABEL' on the container. SCREENWASH is for WindSCREENS : ANTIFREEZE is for your car's ENGINE!! Sorry to be like a schoolmaster but..... Hope this helps!

I'd imagine you'd dilute it more during the summer and neater in the winter.

Used it in my car for the past 2 years and can not see why not.

Q: Is the product ready to use or does it need diluting with water?

It depends on the time of year you will be using it. The directions suggest using neat during winter, a ratio of 1 part screen wash to 9 parts water in autumn and 1/19 in spring and summer.
