Great Camp Chair!
Unlike all the cheaters who get stuff for free and then write a review- lucky dogs I'm envious- I paid full price for this item and this review is my own opinion. I purchased 2 of these chairs so that my wife can have a comfy place to sit too. These are great chairs. Small, light weight and comfortable. I have seen what I think is the exact same chair for $80-120 on line at REI and in my local backpacking stores. These other chairs may have different logo, different fabric and different colors but the design of the chair and the pouch that it comes in essentially the same so I'm pretty sure these chairs are made by the same manufacturer for various retailers. Given that, the $40 price I paid is very reasonable. I bought these chairs to (a) use on the beach in Hawaii and (b) to carry in a small airplane when going on camping trips or to airplane fly-ins. I have not used this chair for either of those yet but I'll know better how they perform after we get back from Hawaii later this spring. I have set them up a few times and have spent an hour or two (total) sitting in them and they are comfy. Not as comfy as a regular folding camp chair but way better than the sit on the ground-type beach chairs. These chairs are a bit lower that other collapsable camp chairs so if you have really bad knees or back you might need a little help getting out of one of these chairs. There is no headrest but the design of the chair does not make me wish for one. The angle that you sit at keeps your neck in a comfortable angle. I have seen a headrest attachment that is designed for this style of chair but I have not tried it. Aside from comfort, another upside is that this chair weighs a fraction of what the bigger chairs weigh and they pack down to a small size so they are portable enough to drop in a daypack and carry with you and you won't really even notice that it is there. Set up is not super easy. It takes a little bit of strength to flex the frame enough to get the last pole into the little pocket that is sewn into the fabric seat but I would not say that it is "hard" or "difficult"- it just requires a bit of elbow grease. I put the opposite corner on the ground and push down on the last pole so that it bends over enough to fit it into the pocket. I highly recommend this product and the seller did a great job of getting it to me even faster than they said they would.

Great camping chairs
Quick set up, very comfortable with head support, compact when folded, huge bang for your buck. Feels very sturdy. I weigh about 200lbs and it felt solid even with my 5 year old on my lap. Highly recommended.

Good chair, bit heavy.
I’ve been on the hunt for a great/comfortable backpacking/travel chair. This packs smallish. Price point is good, I really like that the leg heights are adjustable. I had the back legs lower and front legs higher, the backwards lean made it very comfortable. It is wide too which is really nice. This chair is great for keeping in a car to take to parks or otherwise, but was a bit big and heavy to want to bring in a backpack.

Half the price of others, and perfect.
Bought 2 of these to actually have a camping chair. I do a mix of car camping, day hikes, as well as travel to festivals and lugging a chair around is always a pain, but not so much any more. The chair fits into the carry case nicely, its not bulging anywhere, and is not hard to get into the case either. Completely put away it is about 3in x 3inx 18in. It also weighs next to nothing, maybe not as light as others on the market, but unless you are seriously trying to cut all extra oz its perfect. There are loops on the outside of the case, which allowed me to securely lash it to my day bag so it doesn't even take up pack space to carry. Assembling the chair is simple and quick, other reviewers mentioned they had a hard time getting the seat stretched over the frame, but with either of the two I purchased this has not been an issue. In fact mine worked so well that if you have issues getting the seat on you probably have done something wrong. The top two pole loops/pockets on the fabric have pull loops attached to the inside of them that help you get them over the poles and with these it is no harder to pull on than a slightly tight shoe, just make sure that you put the bottom poles in their respective holes first and that the logo is on the side of the chair not the top or bottom... I do not think these will hold up to children climbing in and out of them, or the heavy plopper type of sitter, where they trust what is ever under them to catch them on their 4-5 inch drop. This is a light weight chair and as such has some limitations. I would not do to much rotating while sitting in it either, but I was able to sit forward or lay into the backrest without worry. I sat in both for over an hour each the day I got them and allowed both of my rather small dogs to hop up into my lap with confidence in the durability. I am 6'2'' and somewhere just over 200 and I felt like the chair was more than capable of holding me and will last through many many camping trips. These are comfortable, lightweight, and pack small, with a higher weight limit than most of the other cheaper options out there I would highly recommend it if you don't want to shell out the schmeckles for the Helios one. The biggest cons I can think of are; the feet seem like they will be prone to sinking in soft ground, and the mesh on the back and sides was kinda rough on bare skin.

Good product
A little skeptical at first. I wanted three things from this product, comfortably, leg adjustment and maneuverability/lightweight. the wieght capacity is 330lbs and my wieght is 246lbs, That handles very comfortable! And wide enough. I like the leg adjustment, Adjusting to the highest level makes it easier for me too get out of the chair. And wanted something compacted and light wieght so I can connect it to my backpack for hiking, fishing and camping.

Works great
I was going to take this to a Foo Fighters concert, but I decided not too. I have used it on several occasions at backyard get-togethers, its a great size, light weight, nice and strong to hold my 250lbs but. Its super easy to setup and fold up in to its small bag that doesn't take up much space in my car.

+ Mesh in the backing to keep it from acting like a wind scoop
I chose to compare this ultra-light chair to a similar version I have with a high back/Headrest. These chairs are all over Amazon, so this review will probably be applicable to the entire gamut. When it comes to these ultra-light chairs here is what you should look for: + Mesh in the backing to keep it from acting like a wind scoop. + Strong plastic joints + Well reinforced pole sockets + Wide feet bottoms to keep the feet from sinking into the soil This chair has all of these features, with the small exception of the wide feet. This Moon Lence chair has the same feet that are common among these chairs so it is on par with the average. Compared to the high backed chair, this one is waaay more stable. The mesh backing and lower profile keep it from acting like a windsock. My high backed chair falls over with the slightest breeze unless weighed down. This one seems to stay put without weight. It is also substantially lighter than the high backed chair. That being said, the high backed chair is slightly more comfortable. ~~The Question Everyone is Asking in the Back of Their Minds~~ Can you lean back in it? My answer is Yes, as long as you are under 200lbs. If you weight more than that you should not be leaning back in any chair. The multiple joints and the fact that every rod and joint can move independently actually help the chair conform to uneven surfaces and transfer the forces to the ground when leaning back. ~~How Does it Stack up To Your Standard Cheapo 4-Post Folding Chair from Walmart?~~ Way better! Those chairs that have become the norm at every campsite, while cheap and easy, leave a lot to be desired. I would much rather carry this Moon Lence chair a mile to a campsite than one of those chairs from walmart. The weight, space savings and comfort make this chair a clear winner in my book all day long. ~~Would I but this brand/model over a different one again?~~ Being one of the cheapest ones without adjustable legs, I would say yes. The adjustable leg chairs are only going to add more weight. As far as choosing this one over a high backed chair, I would say yes again, primarily due to the extra weight and the fact that the one I have has no mesh and falls over all the time. Conclusion: Definitely worth it as one of the cheapest one on the market. Lighter than a standard camping chair and easier to haul and carry. I will probably keep all of my camping chairs at home from now on and slowly transition my camping chairs over to this type. Moon Lence provided a chair to GadgetClass for testing and review
