These fittings are a great value. They're nice and thick and I like the fact that they come with an extra washer as well. They work just as they should, I've yet to have one leak. They fit a 3/4" ID hose perfectly, the worm drive clamps work well for install and the threads are cut smoothly so they connect together easily.

I bought the 3-pack 5/8" set. I found the quality to be very good. After reading the lower ratings, here are some tips: 1) You will have trouble with hoses ribbed on the inside for kink prevention. This is not the fault of the connector, this style of connector is meant for a hose that's smooth inside. 2) You'll get a cleaner hose cut using a PEX cutter. Inexpensive and handy to cut much more than PEX pipe. 3) It will be much harder to push on the connector if the hose is stiff (i.e. on a colder day, which is when I did the repair). Use a hair dryer to heat up the end of the hose and connector until the hose is flexible prior to pushing on the connector. In my case, I have a rubber hose with a rubber jacket. I could push it on by hand when warm even with the connector being slightly oversized for the hose, as it should be. 4) As with the connector, the clamp will benefit from heating the hose first, and then gently tightening the clamp after making sure the connector is pushed all the way on to the hose (to the connector collar) and positioning the clamp about 1/8" from the end of the hose. This took me under 10 minutes for both ends, looks good, no leaks, and at about $4.20 per hose for both ends it was more than worth it.

Well made, brass means long lasting. I’ve tried other plastic parts that simply don’t fit well and don’t hold up. These are at a reasonable price for an excellent product. Super easy to install. And, of course they won’t rust!

Perfect fit for an old 1/2" hose, just warmed up the hose end with a heat gun and the fitting went on (in) easily. The clamp is perfectly sized, too. Nicely made, the female end swivels freely. All the "it doesn't fit" reviews must be from people that don't know what size hose they have.

I don't think the company selling these has any clue what they are selling based on the descriptions. The threaded side is the same on both the 5/8 and 3/4 which it should be, but their 5/8 version states 5/8 hose barb, which is incorrect. Anyway, both of these fit normal garden hose threaded (GHT, MHT, FHT) faucets and connections, so that part is fine, just incorrectly described. The barbed side is where we have the problems. The 3/4 is definitely too small for 3/4 hoses and the 5/8 is definitely too small for 5/8in hoses. I've tried with several hoses of each size, all different brands, and the barbs are simply 1 size too small for what they are described for. It's possible these are metric, being re-sold by converting to standard dimensions. So, you can likely use the 3/4 connectors for actual 5/8 hose repair and the 5/8 connectors for 1/2in hose repairs, you may need to soak the end of the hose in boiling water to make it more flexible, but not really any chance at repairing a 3/4 with the 3/4 or a 5/8 with the 5/8 and actually getting it tight enough to stay in place. The materials seem to be decent although the clamps are definitely a low quality point of the product, just go to the hardware store and buy decent hose clamps, the ones included are literally useless. Otherwise, appears to be high quality brass, no burrs, discoloration or anything that would suggest this is low quality metal or something just colored to look like brass. But regardless, these won't work for what they are being sold for, even if they are high quality.

Works like a charm. I have a very large yard and use these quite often. I should have bought more. And I probably will.
