Modern Greek Cooking: 100 Recipes for Meze, Entrées, and Desserts

This has been such a great asset to our love for Greek cuisine. The book was crafted so beautifully, from breathtaking pictures to very precise technique and measurements. We have made several recipes since the book arrived and it has blown us away! We live two hours away from Chef Pano's restaurant Kyma in Atlanta, and having his book at home has allowed us to have a taste of Kyma in our own kitchen. The recipes are easy to follow and are very detailed, so you know what to expect when you are making them. I highly recommend it for everybody that loves Greek Cuisine.

Kyma is one of our all-time favorite restaurants and Pano is among our favorite chefs in the world so we absolutely had to have this cookbook! It’s beautifully done with stunning photos and delicious classic Mediterranean dishes with a modern personal touch. Pano’s Roasted Beet Salad with Manouri Cream recipe is probably one of our favorite dishes ever! Every dish is fresh, flavorful and brilliantly executed.

I have eaten at Kyma in Atlanta. I have also eaten at several other high end Greek seafood restaurants in New York and Las Vegas and this one totally blows them away. I could not wait to get Chef Pano's cookbook when I heard it was being released this Fall and pre-ordered it sight unseen in May. I loved the recipes and that they are geared for the home cook. I have already tried several of the recipes and they were wonderful. Not as good as being served this in Chef Pano's restaurant - but pretty darn close! Look forward to working my way through the cookbook.

My teenage daughter is pre diabetic. After a long conversation with her Endocrinologist, my daughter wanted to have Greek Food as part of her diet. I am glad that I purchased this book for her. There are many easy, tasty and healthy recipes in this book. Now I see my daughters are cooking together with my wife all healthy,delicious Greek foods, and noticed a significant improvement on her health. I am thankful to her doctor and specially the author of this book Cheff Pano Karatassos. Thanks again.

I have had the pleasure of dining in Chef Pano Karatassos' restaurant, Kyma, many times and have marveled at every bite of every dish. I am delighted to have a chance to make some of those dishes at home now. The cookbook is beautiful and the recipes are accessible and well-written. Modern Greek Cooking is a new culinary classic.

Beautiful book with excellent recipes for authentic Greek cooking. This is now a go-to for healthy and flavorful recipes.

It's not the one I was looking for

Every time I visit Atlanta, I make a point of visiting Chef Pano's Kyma. Nothing can compare to this experience! Now, I can have a bit of Pano's work at home. The pictures are gorgeous in this cookbook and the recipes are accessible to the average person. Bravo Chef Pano.... you have a talent!!
