Ebony is supposed be black. Idk if the product was just old or mislabeled but it was teal green. It rinsed out teal and colored med blonde hair teal. It also came out in 3 washes and isn't eligible for a refund. Don't waste your money.

Its punky. Its perfect.

Bought many colors of Punky Colour before. Could never find black locally. Paid 2x as much for it, only for it to rinse out and turn GREEN. Not remotely impressed.

I've used Punky Colours before, and they work quite well on my blonde hair. The jar I bought was labeled as 'ebony', it looks black in the jar, and the seller's post is for a black dye, but what I received actually turned out to be a deep emerald green. I would say that it was a fluke incorrect label, except other people seem to have had the same experience. I probably should have gone to a reputable beauty supplier.

Arrived quickly. Beautiful blue black.
